A Woman's Nightmarish Moment on Chicago Streets
A young woman in her mid-30s is facing a tough road after she was involved in a shocking car crash with a police vehicle in the Fuller Park area of Chicago. The incident unfolded at around 10:50 p.m. when the officers were driving north on South La Salle Street in their marked squad car when a silver sedan, driven by the woman, failed to stop at the red light and collided head-on.
Miraculously, the police officers sustained only minor injuries and were rushed to an area hospital where they received treatment. However, their ordeal was just beginning as the authorities issued them four citations – including disobeying a red light, failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, operating an uninsured motor vehicle, and driving without registration.
The woman, also 33 years old, was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center for observation but fortunately did not suffer any life-threatening injuries. Her actions, however, have left her facing significant consequences, both on and off the road.

This is crazy! I mean, I've heard of people making split-second decisions while driving, but this is insane! The woman's silver sedan just sped right through that red light like it was a green one 
. It's lucky those cops weren't hurt worse, they must have been in shock after that collision.
four of them? I don't know if the police were totally justified in issuing all of them. Maybe she didn't mean to run the red light, or maybe she was having a bad day and just wasn't paying attention? Idk what's gonna happen next, but hopefully she'll be okay after this ordeal 
It's like she was hoping to get away with it or something. I feel bad for the officers, though - they're already dealing with traumatic injuries and then get slapped with all those citations? It's just not fair 
. And now she's facing serious consequences on her own license... it's a real wake-up call for everyone on the road to stay alert and follow the rules

, can you believe this lady got ticketed by the cops? I mean, she's already in a bad spot from that crash but now she's getting hit with fines for not stopping at a red light? It's like the universe is giving her a big ol' traffic ticket

I feel so bad for that young woman! One wrong move at a red light can lead to some crazy situations like this. And four citations? That's just harsh 
. You'd think with all the police training they get, you'd expect them to be more understanding in these kinds of situations. I mean, accidents happen and it's not like she did anything malicious. 
It's always a tough spot for everyone involved. Glad to hear she's okay, but that poor woman is gonna have some explaining to do with her insurance company

I know accidents can happen to anyone at any time but still its just so scary thinking about what could've been worse. Glad the cops are okay tho
