I gotta say, this is a thing I've been noticing for ages

. Like, when was the last time we saw a Premier League champ with like 20+ goals? It's all just scattered around, you know? And it makes sense, 'cause teams are trying to balance the attack and defense these days.
I mean, take Arsenal, they're not really exceptional in this regard

. Their strikers haven't been that prolific, but at the same time, they've got a solid team. It's like, you don't need one superstar goal-scorer to win the league, right?
The trend is pretty interesting tho. I'd love to see some data on teams from the 60s and 70s, 'cause that's when it seems to have started

. But for now, it just goes to show how teams are trying to create a more balanced game, rather than relying on one or two superstars.
