We Got Anime 'Among Us' Before That Stacked Hollywood Cast 'Among Us' Cartoon

Anime Adaptation "Gnosia" Emerges as Surprise Successor to "Among Us"

In a bizarre twist, the highly anticipated animated adaptation of Innersloth's multiplayer hit game "Among Us" has been usurped by an anime series that bears little resemblance to its original concept. The new show, titled "Gnosia," boasts a stacked voice cast, including Ashley Johnson and Elijah Wood, but its premise is based on an entirely different visual novel of the same name.

In this anime adaptation, players take on the role of Yuuri, a character who finds himself stuck in a time loop, reliving the same episode over and over again as he tries to uncover the identity of the Gnosia - a made-up anime term for an imposter among a crew of strangers on a spaceship. Each episode brings new characters, roles, and plot twists, making it a guessing game for viewers to play along.

While "Gnosia" may not have the same replay value as its original inspiration, "Among Us," the show is an inoffensive time-waster that will appeal to anime fans looking for a lighthearted experience. The English dub, in particular, shines with its cast's comedic take on the game's premise.

One of the standout features of "Gnosia" is its ability to cleverly misdirect viewers about who is the Gnosia and who is human. The show also incorporates design elements reminiscent of popular anime series like Danganronpa, adding a layer of depth to the story.

With an ample number of episodes scheduled for release in fall 2025, "Gnosia" offers fans plenty of opportunities to binge-watch and become invested in the mystery. While it may not be the adaptation that fans were originally expecting, "Gnosia" is a charming and engaging anime series that will satisfy those looking for a fun, puzzle-filled experience.

In contrast, the original "Among Us" adaptation, which was set to premiere on CBS, has been noticeably quiet since its announcement. It's unclear what happened to the project, but it seems that "Gnosia" has taken center stage as the anime equivalent of "Among Us."

omg u guys I just saw this news and i am SO hyped for gnosia!!! 🤯 i mean i was expecting an among us adaptation but gnosia sounds like so much fun! time loop mystery? anime vibes? Elijah Wood is part of the cast lol what's not to love? 🤷‍♂️ also i like how it's a lighthearted show, no pressure or stress, just pure puzzle-solving fun 🎉 and those design elements sound super cool btw can't wait for more episodes in fall 2025! 💖

Wow 🤯 the fact that an anime series can just steal the spotlight like this is really interesting... I mean, who would have thought that a time loop mystery show would be more popular than a multiplayer game adaptation? 🤷‍♂️ The cast of Gnosia seems pretty solid and I love how they're incorporating design elements from other anime shows. It's definitely not my cup of tea but hey, if it's what the fans want then that's cool 😎

idk why ppl got so hyped about among us anime adaption lol gnosia looks like a way more interesting show 🤔👀 ashley johnson and elijah wood are literally the icing on the cake, but lets be real, it's not like its going to change ur life or anything 😂 it's just a fun little mystery show for anime fans. don't @ me when i say i'll probably watch both tho 🤷‍♀️

I'm low-key surprised by this news 🤔. I mean, who would've thought an anime series based on a different concept would steal the show? But you know what? I think it's kinda cool 😎. The fact that it's got a stacked voice cast and is like a puzzle game for viewers is super appealing to me. And I love how it plays with expectations - who do you think the Gnosia is at first, and then BAM! They're not who you thought 🤯.

I'm also curious about how the show incorporates design elements from other anime series... does that add an extra layer of depth to the story? 😊 And I love that it's a lighthearted time-waster - we could all use more of those in our lives, right?

But, yeah... what happened to the original "Among Us" adaptation? 🤔 Was it just not meant to be? Either way, "Gnosia" seems like a fun show that I'd definitely check out. Who's with me? 👀

I gotta say, who would've thought an anime series inspired by a visual novel would steal the show from an animated adaptation of a popular multiplayer game? 🤯 The cast for Gnosia is definitely on point, especially with Ashley Johnson and Elijah Wood on board. The whole time loop concept is pretty clever, making it feel like you're playing a puzzle game while watching the episodes.

I'm loving how they've added all these design elements reminiscent of Danganronpa - it's a nice touch that sets Gnosia apart from other anime series. And let's be real, who doesn't love trying to figure out who's human and who's the imposter? 🤔 It's like a fun little challenge, especially with each new episode bringing fresh characters and plot twists.

I'm kinda bummed that the original Among Us adaptation seems to have fallen off the radar, but I guess you can't blame Gnosia for taking center stage. At least now we've got another awesome anime series to look forward to - and who knows, maybe it'll even get some new fans hooked on anime! 😊

omg have you guys ever noticed how weird it is when you're watching a movie or playing a game and suddenly your brain starts making connections between two totally unrelated things? like i was listening to this podcast about space travel the other day and my brain just started thinking about that new anime "Gnosia" and how its concept sounds kinda like something out of a sci-fi novel 🚀👽 anyway, has anyone else tried it out yet?

idk why people get so salty about this lol, gnosia is actually kinda cool i mean who doesn't love a good mystery? and the voice cast is on point ashley johnson and elijah wood are hilarious together 🤣 plus it's not like among us was going to blow anyone away anyway it was just a game 🙄
