this is just so messed up
... I mean, a city like Pokrovsk shouldn't have to go through all this
. The numbers are just staggering - 200+ soldiers breached the city's defenses and now they're dealing with thousands more on the outskirts?
it's like the situation is spiraling out of control.
and what really gets me is that innocent people are getting caught in the crossfire
, especially kids. I mean, two 11- and 14-year-olds were killed in just one night... can you even imagine how their families are feeling right now?
Ukraine's got a tough road ahead of them but I think it's clear that they're not giving up
. The fact that they're deploying special forces to the city is a good sign, and I hope they can push back against the Russian assault. But at the same time, it's hard not to worry about the long-term impact on civilians... there are going to be so many people displaced or affected by this conflict
.
and have you seen all these drone strikes targeting Ukraine's oil infrastructure?
it's like Russia is trying to strangle them economically. It's just another layer of complexity in an already messy situation
