I'm not gonna miss this guy lol . I mean, sure, he was part of some iconic shows and all that, but let's be real, how many people have you actually seen him on TV? He's been in production for like 60 years or something... that's just crazy talk. Alzheimer's is a total bummer, though . I guess it's good he got to see some of his stuff air and get recognized while he was still kickin', but still... He's probably in a better place now, watching the Oscars or something .
just another legend bites the dust... 86 is old even for someone who's worked as hard as tom cherones his legacy lives on tho, who else can say they got a dga award and golden globe for "seinfeld"? that's some serious tv cred btw, i'm still surprised he made it to 86 with alz... talk about hanging in there
Tom Cherones was a true legend in TV land . I mean, who else could make a show like Seinfeld look so effortless? The way he brought that "cinematic feel" to multi-camera scenes was pure genius . And can we talk about how underrated his cameo appearance as himself in the Pilot episode of Seinfeld is? That's just some next-level meta humor right there . I'm so glad he got the recognition he deserved with those Emmy and DGA awards . He will be deeply missed, but his work will live on and inspire a whole new generation of TV producers and directors
