Omg I just loved this new show ! The characters are so relatable, especially Matt with his gaming addiction ... but also kinda weirdly likable? And Harriet's revenge plot is so satisfying . The cast is perfection, esp Diane Morgan as the deadpan Harriet . But can we talk about Carol and her sass? She steals every scene! And the writing is just so clever with all those surreal humour bits . I'm hooked on this show for sure!

I just finished listening to 'The Long Shoe' and I gotta say it's been a wild ride! Matt Giles's life is like a dumpster fire on steroids but somehow it's still kinda relatable? Like who hasn't had a rough patch or spent all their money on video games . And Harriet... girl, I feel you ‍ her story just got even more tragic.

The cast of characters is so well done, especially Carol - she's like the sass queen of our lives ! But seriously though, Diane Morgan's voice acting as Harriet really adds depth to the story. And that plot twist with her being a victim of a crime? Mind blown .

I love how surreal and quirky it gets in this story - Goodmonson the cat is literally the best character ! The writing's witty and engaging, too. Not too taxing at all, just pure entertainment . All in all, 'The Long Shoe' is a crack-up of a listen .

OMG, I'm so here for this book! Matt's struggles are so relatable, especially when it comes to those video games... I mean, who hasn't spent a little too much cash on gaming sessions? But seriously, the cast of characters is lovable and quirky, and I love how they all bring their own unique vibes to the story.

I also love how the author has woven in these little gems like Goodmonson the cat – I mean, who comes up with that name?! It's just one of those touches that makes you smile. And Diane Morgan as Harriet is perfection – her deadpan delivery is on point!

The plot might have its ups and downs, but overall it's such a fun ride. If you're looking for something lighthearted to listen to, I'd say give 'The Long Shoe' a try. It's the perfect escape from reality, with a dash of surreal humour that'll keep you giggling.

I'm not buying it... sounds like just another story about some guy who's having a rough patch, gets lucky, and everything works out for him in the end. Where's the research on Harriet getting "left" by Matt? Is this even true? And what's with the luxury apartment as a way to win her back? That seems super convenient...

awww poor matt seems like he's having one of those days where everything goes wrong but hey at least he got a new job chance fingers crossed it works out for him and maybe harriet will come back around after seeing his fancy new pad it sounds like this audiobook has some great characters and humor to take your mind off things
