I also don't get why some outfits are seen as more acceptable than others. It's like, if you're a waiter and you wear a tracksuit, it's not like you're doing anything wrong... unless of course you work at McDonald's or something 
. And what about people who can't afford fancy clothes? Does that mean they're any less deserving of respect? Just seems to me like we're putting too much pressure on our clothes to say who we are, and it's just not fair 
I'm so over how much pressure there is to wear uniforms in the workplace! It feels like they're trying to suck all individuality out of us. Can't we just express ourselves through fashion without having to hide behind a corporate logo? And what's with the judgment on people who wear tracksuits or suits that aren't "professional" enough? Newsflash: people have different styles and it's okay! 
We should be celebrating our uniqueness, not trying to conform to some arbitrary standard. It's time for workplaces to rethink their dress codes and let us bring ourselves to the table...literally!
