Taiwan’s Each Other Films Scales Up With Folklore Epic, Drag Doc, Streaming Series (EXCLUSIVE)

Taiwan's Each Other Films Touts Expanding Global Reach Through Diverse Lineup

Seven years after launching, Taiwan-based production company Each Other Films is embarking on an ambitious phase of international expansion. Co-founder Jacqueline W. Liu and co-founder CEO Tiffany Yu-Chia Chen unveiled a diverse slate that spans documentary to big-budget action, marking a significant shift in the company's scope.

Among the newly announced titles, "Heals," a documentary about drag performer Pangina Heals, serves as the company's first foray into factual storytelling through international partnerships. The film, which bridges Taiwanese and Thai cultures, represents a new chapter in Each Other Films' commitment to diversity and global collaboration.

Fiction projects include Henry Tsai's directorial debut "Spent Bullets," an adaptation of Taiwan writer Terao Tetsuya's short stories, with production set across multiple cities including Silicon Valley, Las Vegas, and Taipei. The film has secured spots at prominent festivals, solidifying the company's growing reputation.

The company is also reviving its hit franchise "The Accidental Influencer" with a fresh chapter, centered on character Red, which will premiere next January on GTV and Netflix, featuring additional cast members and storylines focused on contemporary relationships.

Perhaps the most ambitious entry is "The Odd Three: Madam Tiger," being developed by director Joseph Chen-Chieh Hsu as a large-scale adventure that reimagines traditional folklore through a modern lens. The project aims to serve as a launching point for additional character-driven stories across the region, positioning Each Other Films as a key player in shaping global Asian storytelling.

The company's co-founders expressed confidence in their growth strategy, emphasizing the power of cinema to transcend borders and cultures. By expanding its scope and genre, Each Other Films is poised to capitalize on the increasing demand for diverse, globally relevant content.

With recent successes such as "Little Big Women" topping the Taiwan box office and earning recognition at the Golden Horse Awards, "The Accidental Influencer" becoming an HBO Asia original, and "Dreams in Nightmares" premiering at Berlin's Panorama section, Each Other Films is well-positioned to continue scaling its international reach while maintaining its commitment to female perspectives and universal storytelling.

omg, can u believe each other films is expanding globally 💥🌎? they're bringing so many talented people and stories together 🤝! i'm hyped about the new documentaries especially "heals" - pangina heals is a legend 👏! and i love that they're reviving "the accidental influencer" with fresh twists 📺. but what i really want to see is more asian-led productions on global platforms 💻. lets keep celebrating our stories and creators, fyi 🎥👍

I'm loving the fact that These guys from Taiwan are finally getting their due recognition on the global stage 🤩! They're not just stopping at producing films that showcase Taiwanese culture, but they're also bringing in international talent and collaborating with other countries to create something fresh and exciting. I mean, a documentary about a drag performer? 💖 And a big-budget action film set in Silicon Valley and Las Vegas? That's some next-level stuff!

And can we talk about how awesome it is that they're reviving "The Accidental Influencer" with new cast members and storylines? 🤔 It's like they're giving the original fans something to get hyped for, while also introducing their brand of quirky humor to a whole new audience. As for "The Odd Three: Madam Tiger", I'm intrigued by the idea of reimagining traditional folklore through a modern lens 🌟. It sounds like They're trying to shake things up and push the boundaries of Asian storytelling.

I've gotta say, it's refreshing to see a production company that's not just focused on making bank, but also on creating content that resonates with people from different cultures and backgrounds ❤️. Each Other Films is definitely one to watch out for in the coming years! 💥

I'm not sure I get the hype around these new movies from Each Other Films... 🤔 They're just trying to be all things to everyone, you know? Like, a documentary about a drag performer is cool and all, but how's that going to translate to a wider audience? And don't even get me started on "The Odd Three: Madam Tiger" - it sounds like some random mythological mashup with no real depth. 📚

And have you seen the cast list for their upcoming series? It's all these familiar faces, but what makes this new chapter of "The Accidental Influencer" so special? Is it just more of the same old soap opera drama? 🤷‍♀️ I mean, I love a good story as much as the next person, but do we really need another reboot?

I think what's missing here is some real innovation and risk-taking. These movies are playing it safe, sticking to tried-and-true formulas that have worked before. Where's the excitement in that? 😴

🌟 I'm so hyped for this! It's amazing to see a company like Each Other Films pushing the boundaries of global storytelling and representation. And I love that they're focusing on female perspectives and universal storytelling – it's about time we saw more of those kinds of projects gain traction. 💁‍♀️ "The Accidental Influencer" revamp sounds like a great idea, and I'm hyped for the new chapter with additional cast members and storylines.

omg i'm literally so stoked about this 🤩 each other films has always been a hidden gem and now they're finally branching out globally it's about time tbh they've got some amazing projects lined up especially "spent bullets" which sounds like such an epic adaptation of tetsuya's short stories and "the odd three: madam tiger" is giving me all the fantasy vibes 🧚‍♀️🔮 i love how they're pushing the boundaries of storytelling across asia and creating a platform for female voices to be heard it's not just about the films themselves but also about building a community that celebrates diversity and global collaboration can't wait to see what the future holds for each other films 🎥💖

I'm so stoked to see Each Other Films go global 🌎! They're doing a great job of showcasing Taiwanese stories that are relevant to the world, you know? I mean, who wouldn't want to watch a documentary about a drag performer who's breaking barriers in Taiwan and Thailand? It's amazing how they're collaborating with international partners to bring us this diverse lineup 💖. And can we talk about how awesome it is that they're reviving "The Accidental Influencer" with fresh cast members and storylines? 🎉 I'm all for more female-led content that tackles contemporary relationships! The fact that they're pushing the boundaries of traditional folklore in their next big project, "The Odd Three: Madam Tiger", is just mind-blowing 🤯. Each Other Films is definitely on my radar now – can't wait to see what's next for them 💫

idk about this... 🤔 they're trying to expand globally with all these different projects? some of them sound interesting like "heals" doco but others seem like typical hollywood formula 🎥 it's cool that they're focusing on asian stories though, maybe we can get more nuanced representation 👌

🤔 I'm lovin' the vibe of These new movies from Each Other Films are gonna be fire 💥. They're takin' some risks with diverse lineups, but I think that's what's needed in today's entertainment landscape. We need more stories that reflect our global community 🌎. I'm hyped to see "Spent Bullets" and "The Odd Three: Madam Tiger" get the attention they deserve – it's gonna be interesting to see how They bring these traditional tales into the modern era 📚. And let's be real, who doesn't love a good underdog story? 🤗

So what's up with this whole expansion thing? 🤔 Like, I'm all for diversity and global collaboration in film, but we gotta be real, it's been seven years since Each Other Films started out and now they're just trying to keep up with the rest of the industry, you feel? 💼 They got some decent titles lined up, like "Heals" and "Spent Bullets", but I'm still waiting for something that really blows my mind. 🎥 And let's be real, reviving a franchise like "The Accidental Influencer" isn't exactly breaking new ground, it's been done before. 💭 Still, I guess you gotta give 'em credit for recognizing the demand for diverse content and trying to push the boundaries of global storytelling. Maybe this is the start of something big? 🤞

I'm so hyped about This! 🤩 Taiwan's Each Other Films is low-key killing the game with their new lineup. They're finally showing that Asian stories don't have to be limited to just romantic dramas or historical epics. I mean, "Heals" and "The Odd Three: Madam Tiger" are already giving me life! 💥 The fact that they're pushing for more diverse storytelling and global collaborations is a major key to their success. And let's not forget about the growth of their female-led projects - it's about time we saw more women on screen! 👩‍💼🎬 I'm definitely keeping an eye on these new releases and can't wait to see how Each Other Films continues to evolve and push boundaries in the film industry 🚀

I don't know how I feel about this... 🤔 Each Other Films seems like a decent company, but is it really just jumping on the "diversity bandwagon" to get attention? Their new lineup sounds interesting, but are they just throwing money at projects with trendy titles and vague promises of "global relevance"? 🤑 And what's up with this obsession with rebooting old shows? Can't they come up with something entirely new?

I do love the idea of exploring traditional folklore through a modern lens for their next big project, though. Maybe that's where the real innovation happens. 💡 But is it enough to make me forgive their lack of originality elsewhere? 🤷‍♂️ I'm still on the fence about this one...

🤔 just watching these trailers for each other films movies and i gotta say they're getting pretty ambitious 🎥 with "spent bullets" and "the odd three: madam tiger" looking like big budget productions... but you know what's even more exciting? the fact that pangina heals' documentary is actually being made in collaboration with thai artists 🌴 that kind of global exchange can lead to some really powerful storytelling 💡

so they're trying to get into global cinema with this diverse lineup 🌎? like, more action movies and documentaries too 🎥? i'm curious about pangina heals' story in "heals" tho, how did the thai-taiwanese culture blend together in that film? 🤔 also, what's the deal with all these cities involved in spent bullets production? silicon valley, las vegas, taipei... it sounds like a lot of work 💼? and i love that they're reviving "the accidental influencer" franchise 📺 but will it still be focused on Taiwanese perspectives or are they trying to go more global with this new chapter? 🤔
