Ugh this is so crazy!! 
I mean, I get that farmers need to take care of their crops but come on! Arctic blasts are no joke! 
The fact that these farmers are literally working non-stop to try and save their harvests is just insane... they're basically putting in overtime without a break! 
I feel for them, though - the thought of all those crops freezing up and being ruined is a nightmare. And it's not just about the farmers, either... if they can't meet their targets, that means people are gonna be stuck with no winter veggies 
! It's like, what even is the point of having farms if we're just gonna let them fail? 
I hope Torbert Farms makes it through the weekend without losing too much, but honestly, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for all these farmers!

like who needs a weekend off anyway? i feel for them tho, arctic blasts are super harsh on plants. tbh, south florida is already super hot so it's weird they'd have to deal with cold temps too . but idk if covering produce in tarpaulins is enough... how much damage can the frost do? 2-3 days without heat would be a disaster for all those melons

Arctic blast is gonna hit south florida like crazy!!1! my fave farmers r doin everything posible 2 protect there crops torbert farms is harvestin like crazy on fri & sat n i'm so proud of dem!!! 
they r not just thinkin bout da benifit tho, dey also think bout da future n security of food production
