"SNL" rips "Melania" movie, compares Donald Trump to Hitler

I mean come on, another episode where they're making fun of Trump, like we haven't heard enough about him by now . And what's up with the joke about Jackie Chan? It's just a distraction from the real issues at hand. Can't they focus on something more substantial for once? And don't even get me started on the ratings for this documentary... it's like Amazon is hoping we'll all just forget about the whole thing and shell out our hard-earned cash .

I'm also not buying the "we're just trying to spark important conversations" nonsense. SNL has always been a bit hit or miss for me, but I think they know exactly what they're doing – making us laugh while they're poking fun at the people in power . It's like they're trying to keep us entertained while they're making a profit off our eyeballs .

the thing is , i think snl's approach to tackling trump and his wife melania is spot on. they're not shying away from the controversy surrounding the documentary, but instead using satire to highlight the absurdity of it all . by poking fun at the film's production and its potential profit margins (amazon investing heavily, yeah right ), snl is cleverly subverting our expectations and making us laugh while also making a point about the commercialization of politics.

and i love how they're using humor to draw parallels between trump's behavior and adolf hitler's infamous behavior. it's not easy to tackle topics like this without getting into hot water, but snl is doing it with such finesse . their goal is clear: to challenge our perspectives and spark conversations, not to provoke or offend. that's what makes them the best at what they do .

I mean, have you seen the doco about Melania? It's like they're trying to make a movie out of her entire life – "Wicked for Real"... sounds like a Tinder bio to me . And that segment with Colin Jost was fire, I love how Michael Che replaced Jackie Chan with Mrs T in Rush Hour . But for real though, it's wild how Hollywood is all about the drama when it comes to Brett Ratner... guess you could say he's got a reputation for being a "difficult" guy . And can we talk about how SNL just roasted Trump like it's nobodies business? I mean, even Hitler didn't get into art school – that's some next-level shade right there . Love how they're still keeping it real and funny, though... gotta respect the haters .

oh my gosh I'm literally DYING over this latest ep of SNL the jokes about Melania are so on point, especially with Jackie Chan vs Mel's digital doppelganger and that Michael Che joke about Hitler trying to get into art school is SO GOOD it's like he's speaking straight to my soul! I'm also loving how SNL isn't afraid to tackle those tough topics with humor - I think that's what we need right now in politics the documentary controversy might be messy, but at least the show is staying true to its mission and keeping us laughing while doing it

omg I just watched this ep of SNL ... so they did a sketch about melania's doc and also about the FBI raid on election office in GA ... I dont really get what's going on with melania's doc tho... isn't it like, about her life or something?

and omg the joke about jackie chan vs melania in rush hour was SO funny ... i loved it when colin joked that its called wicked for real lol... anyway, whats up with brett ratner and amazon investing so much into this doc? sounds like a wild production

anyway, I think SNL is still pretty cool even if some of the jokes can be kinda mean but they do make you laugh and its like, good for ya to think about some stuff ... like why people behave in certain ways
