Sevdaliza Unleashes Her Inner 'Heroina' With Karol G, Kenia Os, Tokischa on New LP

Sevdaliza Unveils Ode to Womanhood on Debut Album 'Heroina'

Sevdaliza's highly anticipated new album, 'Heroina', has finally arrived. A 13-track ode to femininity that delves into the complexities of womanhood and features collaborations with a talented lineup of artists.

In her press statement, Sevdaliza explained that the album was born out of her desire to explore different energies and frequencies while creating music around the world. "The songs on this record carry the same thread that's always been with me - humanity, the resistance of the body and mind, the way women and queer people are still shaped by control and the male gaze," she shared.

However, Sevdaliza notes that this time around, it's a different kind of protest. 'Heroina' is about embracing freedom while acknowledging its limitations. This tension between surrender and resistance serves as the core theme of the album.

The record features a diverse range of collaborations, including tracks like "Alibi" with Pabllo Vittar and Yseult, "Ride or Die, Pt. 2" with Villano Antillano and Tokischa, and "No Me CansarΓ©" with Karol G. Other featured artists include Kenia Os, La Joaqui, and Eartheater.

In a statement celebrating the album's release, Sevdaliza emphasized that her collaborators represent different shades of womanhood - resilience, sensuality, and independence. Together, they form a collective voice that challenges traditional narratives and celebrates the power of femininity in all its forms.

With 'Heroina', Sevdaliza marks her first full-length project since 2020's 'Shabrang', which included tracks like "Oh My God" and "Joanna". Her debut EP, 'Raving Dahlia', was released in 2022.

im so curious about sevdaliza's album heroina - what inspired her to create an ode to womanhood? πŸ€” i mean, it sounds like she's exploring some heavy themes, but also celebrating femininity in all its forms πŸ’β€β™€οΈ is that a message for women everywhere or just a personal expression of herself? and what does she mean by "embracing freedom while acknowledging its limitations"? is she saying we should be free to be ourselves, but also aware of the power dynamics at play? 🀝

sevdaliza is killing the game with this new album 🀩 her music is so raw and honest it's like she's speaking straight to your soul πŸ’– i love how she's not afraid to tackle tough topics like feminism and control, but at the same time she's all about embracing freedom and self-love - it's like she's giving us permission to be our true selves 🌈

πŸ€” I'm getting vibes that this album is more than just a celebration of womanhood... it's a calculated move to control the narrative πŸ“’ think about it, all these female artists coming together to create something like "Heroina" - what if they're not just celebrating femininity, but also creating a new standard? πŸ‘€ and have you noticed how Sevdaliza keeps mentioning humanity and resistance... what's really behind that resistance? πŸ’β€β™€οΈ is it just about women empowering each other or is there something more sinister at play? πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

I'm loving this new album by Sevdaliza πŸŒΉπŸ’– her music always gives me chills! I mean, have you listened to the song "Alibi" yet? it's like she's singing directly to my soul 😭. Reminds me of the good old days when female artists were pushing boundaries and breaking rules in the music industry. Like, remember Lauryn Hill's 'The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill' album? that was a game changer 🌟 now we have Sevdaliza and all these other talented women making waves with their music... I'm so grateful for this new generation of female artists who are redefining what it means to be strong, independent, and unapologetically feminine πŸ’ͺ.

so i'm thinking sevdaliza is actually speaking from a place of total self-love and acceptance here - she's embracing the complexities of womanhood and femininity but also refusing to be controlled by societal expectations... that collab with karol g on "no me cansarΓ©" tho, what was it about that song that resonated with her? is it just the vibe or is there something deeper going on?

Imagine a circle 🌐 with 13 segments, each representing a song on the album... that's how I see it - 13 different stories, all connected by a thread of femininity and self-expression πŸ’β€β™€οΈ. Sevdaliza is like a master weaver, bringing together artists from around the world to create something beautiful 🌈. The collaborations on this album are like a puzzle, each piece fitting together to form a bigger picture 🧩.
