omg can you even imagine being at that depth?? 8k meters is insane like literally the pressure would be crushing and they just chill there with their tiny eyes and translucent bodies I mean, it's not every day we get to see creatures thriving in environments that would kill us in seconds . And the fact that these snailfish have no swim bladder is wild like, how do they even stay afloat? anyway, funding constraints are super annoying especially when you're on the verge of making history and can't finish the job due to budget issues we need more people to support ocean exploration research
