Say Ciao to Warner Records Italy and Atlantic Records Italy

Warner Music Italy is ushering in a new era as it launches two frontline labels: Warner Records Italy and Atlantic Records Italy, marking the end of an era for the company's Italian operation under its current name. To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Warner Music Italy has decided to expand and restructure, aiming to create more agile teams that can better support emerging and established artists.

Eleonora Rubini will lead Warner Records Italy as label director, while Leonardo Luan will oversee A&R, Ruth Hagos will be in charge of urban music, Anna Rampinelli will head marketing, and Sara Daniele will handle promotions. Atlantic Records Italy, on the other hand, will be led by Marco Masoli, with Filippo Gimigliano at the helm of A&R, Riccardo Primavera handling urban music, Gianluca Covezzi managing marketing, and Eleonora Bruno overseeing promotions.

Both labels will have dedicated digital, international, and domestic project managers, who will report to VP Gianluca Guido and president Pico Cibelli. ADA Italy will continue to handle distribution and artist services, now under the leadership of Renato Tanchis, who has also been tasked with developing a new exclusive partnership with Andrea Comi (Attica Music) and Davide Dโ€™Aquino (Triggger).

The move is seen as an evolution that strengthens WM Italy's ability to superserve its artists and connect audiences around the world. Eleonora Rubini believes the expansion allows for "a more focused approach to artist development," while Marco Masoli aims to build "a home where creativity thrives and our artists can reach their full potential on the world stage."

The Italian music market continues to grow, with recorded music revenues surpassing 440 million euros in 2023, up 18.8% year-over-year, making it the EU's third-largest after Germany and France. Streaming led with 65% of total revenue, while physical formats rose to a 14% share, as vinyl sales jumped 24.3% and CDs saw a 3.8% increase.

Growth remained strong in early 2025, according to FIMI, with total revenues up 9.7% and both streaming and physical segments posting double-digit gains. With this new structure, Warner Music Italy is poised to take on the challenges of the ever-evolving music industry while fostering creativity and growth for its artists.

๐Ÿค” u know whats weird about this? Theyre just rebranding and restructuring but theres still gonna be the same old ppl making decisions 4 the labels... like what if theyre not even in it 4 the right reasons?? ๐Ÿค‘ maybe they wanna control all the artists under one roof so they can dictate the music we listen to ๐ŸŽถ

I donโ€™t usually comment but I think itโ€™s kinda cool how theyโ€™re restructuring their labels to focus more on artist development and creating a better support system for emerging artists ๐Ÿคฉ. It feels like they want to be more agile and keep up with the ever-changing music landscape, which is really exciting for fans! I mean, 440 million euros in recorded music revenues last year? Thatโ€™s wild ๐Ÿ’ธ. But what Iโ€™m actually happy about is that theyโ€™re not abandoning their Italian roots or anything โ€“ they just want to evolve and adapt ๐ŸŒŸ. Fingers crossed it works out and we get to see some amazing new music from these labels! ๐Ÿ‘

๐ŸŽต I think this is a great move by Warner Music Italy! ๐Ÿคฉ They're finally shaking things up after 50 years and it's about time ๐Ÿ’โ€โ™€๏ธ. With these new frontline labels, they'll be able to focus more on artist development and get their artists out there to the world ๐ŸŒŽ. I'm loving the idea of having dedicated digital, international, and domestic project managers - it just makes so much sense ๐Ÿค“. And with ADA Italy handling distribution and artist services, I'm sure everything will run smoothly ๐Ÿ’ผ. The Italian music market is on fire right now ๐Ÿ”ฅ and I think Warner Music Italy has a real shot at keeping up with the growth ๐Ÿ’ช. Can't wait to see what's in store for these new labels ๐ŸŽ‰

This restructure thingy... ๐Ÿค” I don't know, man. It seems like another way for big labels to make more money off us, you know? Like, they're splitting into different labels, but it's still just gonna be about the Benjamins at the end of the day ๐Ÿ’ธ. And what's with all these new job titles? Eleonora Rubini and Marco Masoli sound like they just made up those words on the spot ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ. And don't even get me started on streaming... 65% of revenue, that's crazy! I mean, I love my tunes as much as the next guy, but come on, can't we just have a little more control over our listening experience? ๐ŸŽง

๐ŸŽต๐Ÿ’ก So, I think it's super cool that Warner Music Italy is shaking things up! ๐Ÿ”„ They're creating two frontline labels, which means they'll have more specialized teams to support their amazing Italian artists ๐Ÿ‡ฎ๐Ÿ‡น. It's like having a puzzle with different pieces, each one fitting perfectly into place ๐Ÿ”ฉ

Eleonora Rubini and Marco Masoli seem like awesome leaders, too ๐Ÿ‘. They're all about creating a home for creativity to thrive ๐ŸŒŸ. And with the growth of the Italian music market (440 million euros in 2023! ๐Ÿ’ธ), it's clear they're on the right track ๐Ÿš€.

I love how they're focusing on artist development and connecting artists worldwide ๐ŸŒŽ. It's not just about making music, but about sharing that music with everyone ๐ŸŽถ. And with ADA Italy handling distribution and artist services... it's like a well-oiled machine ๐Ÿ’ช!

Here's a quick diagram to visualize the new structure:

It's an exciting time for Italian music, and I'm loving the evolution ๐ŸŒˆ!

I'm a bit skeptical about the move but I can see why they're doing it ๐Ÿค”... seems like they're trying to get more agile and better support their artists, which is awesome! I mean, with the Italian music market growing so fast, they need to be able to keep up. 440 million euros in 2023 is crazy! ๐Ÿ’ธ And it's not just about numbers, they're trying to create a home for creativity to thrive. That sounds super promising.

I'm curious to see how this new structure will play out and if they'll be able to deliver on their promises ๐Ÿคž. The fact that Eleonora Rubini is leading Warner Records Italy is a great move - she seems like an experienced and knowledgeable person who knows what she's doing ๐Ÿ’ช. And with the A&R teams in place, I'm hoping we'll see some amazing new music coming out of this.

The growth numbers are also really encouraging ๐Ÿ“ˆ. 9.7% increase in total revenues is a big deal, especially when you consider that streaming and physical segments are both posting double-digit gains. That's a win for the music industry as a whole!

Overall, I think Warner Music Italy has made some smart moves here ๐Ÿค. They're trying to create a better future for their artists, which is what it's all about. Fingers crossed! ๐Ÿ˜Š

The music industry is getting a major revamp in Italy ๐ŸŽถ๐Ÿ”ฅ! It's crazy to think that 50 years ago, this country was just starting out as a force to be reckoned with in the global scene. It's not just about throwing money at talent, but about creating an ecosystem where creativity thrives ๐Ÿ’ก. And with the new labels coming in, I wonder if some artists might even leave or start their own labels ๐Ÿ’ธ... anywayz, it's exciting to see growth in the Italian music market ๐Ÿ“ˆ, but let's see how all these changes go down ๐Ÿค”
