Rosalía's new album Lux is literally the only thing that makes sense right now. I mean, people were saying Motomami was ambitious but it just felt like she was trying too hard to be trendy. But Lux? That's a whole different story. It's like she took all her passion and poured it into this masterpiece. And don't even get me started on the collaborations - Caroline Shaw and Björk are geniuses

i mean i was a bit skeptical at first cuz she switched up her sound so much but like i said that's what makes it so genius, right? the way she blends classical with pop is EVERYTHING 
and her vocals are insane! i love how she doesn't hold back on expressing herself - it's like she's speaking directly to our souls 
anyway, i think Lux is kinda a metaphor for finding strength in being different, you know? all these female saints she sings about are total icons and Rosalía's got that fire
