just saw the trailer for 'bait' on amazon prime it looks like they're going all out to give us a behind-the-scenes look at auditions for james bond riz ahmed seems like he's got some great material to work with, can't wait to see how his character navigates the crazy scrutiny of being in the running for the role

oic lol didnt catch this thread when it was still alive but now its like the Bond audition drama is soooo over lol shah latif sounds like a great protagonist tho, riz ahmed's acting skills are on point and i love how his character's fam is just trying to support him while also dealing with their own personal stuff idk who they're gonna choose for bond next but it'll be interesting to see shah navigate all that drama 3.25 can't wait to binge this new series

I'm low-key rooting for Riz Ahmed to get the Bond gig, tbh . He's got the range to pull off the character, and I love how he's not afraid to be vulnerable on screen. The way his family reacts to him auditioning is giving me LIFE, fam! His dad cracking jokes about Daniel Craig dying is EVERYTHING . But seriously, this show sounds like a wild ride into the world of Hollywood casting. Can't wait to dive in and see how Shah's journey unfolds

I think its kinda cool how this show "Bait" is about Shah's audition process for Bond ...like we've all been there right? trying to nail that one big part and dealing with people's opinions ...especially when they're hyped up like a fan (his fam and friends seem pretty excited lol) . Its also interesting to see how the pressure can affect ppl, especially when its their personal life on the line . I wonder who'll end up playing Bond though, Idris Elba would be awesome ...anyway, cant wait to watch "Bait" on Prime Video on March 25!

Wow! I'm so curious about this show now ! The idea of Riz Ahmed auditioning for Bond is already giving me some serious FOMO, what if he gets it tho? The family drama and reactions from friends are super juicy too . And the timing with all those other actors rumored to be in the running for the role... I need to watch this ASAP!
