Remix in Google Messages brings AI photo editing to even more phones

Google has expanded its AI-powered photo editing feature, Remix in Google Messages, making it available on even more Android phones and tablets. The new feature uses Gemini, a similar AI model to Google Photos, allowing users to edit photos directly within chats. Edited images can be shared with anyone in the conversation, regardless of their device type.

Remix in Google Messages is essentially Google's Nano Banana photo editing tool, which was previously only available in the Google Photos app. The feature allows users to tweak photos and make adjustments like adding a smile or opening eyes without needing previous references. This new version also uses past photos of labelled friends to personalize edits.

In addition to Remix in Google Messages, Google is enhancing its Scam Detection feature with Pixel VIP notifications on Android phones. Scam Detection now warns users about potential scams via notification on Pixel 6 devices and above, while Notification Summaries are available on the Pixel 9 and up.

Google Maps has also received a new Power Saving Mode, which blacks out the screen to conserve battery life for up to four hours. The feature could potentially work seamlessly with Android Auto, but no official announcement has been made by Google yet.

The latest Pixel Drop update includes a seasonal theme pack called Wicked: For Good on Pixel 6 and newer devices, accessible through a new Theme Packs app. While the introduction of this feature is accompanied by an ad, it could prove useful for users in the future.

man.. google just made remix available to even more phones 🀩! i was using it with my pixel 5 and now i can share edited pics with friends on android tablets too! 😊 that feature is so cool cuz u dont need any references, u can just look at the pic and make changes. i also love the new power saving mode in google maps, thats gonna be a game changer for me on long road trips πŸš—πŸ’¨ and its nice to see them enhancing their scam detection feature too, safety first! πŸ‘

I'm so done with these updates πŸ™„... Like, what's next? Google Photos is just going to start selling our edited pics or something 🀯. Remix in Google Messages is cool and all, but have you seen how much data they're probably tracking now that it uses the same AI model as Google Photos? I mean, can't they just leave us alone with our private chats? And don't even get me started on Scam Detection, like we really need a notification to warn us about scams... who's going to alert us if their own scam detector is fake news? πŸ˜’. Power Saving Mode sounds nice, but what's the point when Google just gonna find ways to monetize it? πŸ€‘ And that theme pack? Just another ad in our face...

Just got word that Google's Remix feature is finally coming to more Android phones πŸ€©πŸ“Έ - I'm so down for being able to edit pics directly in chats with my friends. It's about time, too! The AI model thingy must be getting way better since it can now make adjustments without needing old references πŸ˜…. But what's up with the scammers trying to sneak in and steal our cash? Scam Detection is a game-changer on Pixel 6 devices - I hope more phones get this feature ASAP πŸš¨πŸ‘

omg i think its so cool that google can now edit pics right from our texts 🀩! my kid was literally asking me to help her fix her face on a selfie the other day and now we can do it easily together πŸ˜‚. also, the idea of using past photos of labelled friends to personalize edits is genius πŸ€“. i'm already imagining all the funny pics my hubby will make fun of when he sees them 🀣. but seriously, how convenient that these updates are coming out for all android phones and tablets? its like google is trying to make life easier for us parents 😊.

OMG u guys 🀯 just heard that Remix in Google Messages is now on more android phones & tablets πŸ“±πŸ’»! i was thinking its gonna be a while before they expand it to more devices, so yay!! πŸŽ‰ I'm loving how google is incorporating ai into their messaging app, makes editing pics within chats super easy πŸ’β€β™€οΈ. and the fact that edited images can be shared with anyone in the convo, regardless of their device type? genius πŸ’‘. i wonder if they'll add more features to Remix in the future πŸ€”. btw, has anyone tried out this new Power Saving Mode on Google Maps yet? πŸ’»πŸ˜΄

omg i love how google is making its AI-powered features more accessible to everyone! remix in google messages is literally going to change the way we interact with each other online - no more having to send multiple edited pics or using third party apps πŸ“ΈπŸ’¬ it's so cool that they're also enhancing scam detection and power saving mode on google maps, those are super useful features for our daily lives πŸ’‘πŸŒ

omg have you seen google's remix feature in messages yet? 🀯 it's literally changed the game! i mean, who needs snapchat or instagram when you can edit your pics right in a convo? and the fact that it uses past photos of labeled friends to personalize edits is SO cool. but what really has me excited is the new power saving mode on google maps... i'm all about conserving battery life πŸ“΄πŸ”‹ especially since we're living in an era where our phones are basically the only thing we use anymore. and let's not forget about the seasonal theme pack on pixel 6 - wicked: for good sounds like a vibe πŸŽ¨πŸ’« anyway, can't wait to see what other updates google has up its sleeve πŸ’»

omg i just saw that google has this new remix thingy for editing pics in chats 🀯 like how cool is that?! i mean i know google photos had nano banana before but now its even more accessible lol did you guys hear about that new power saving mode on google maps tho? like if it works with android auto too, that would be amazing πŸ’‘ and what's up with the theme packs app? 🎨

Umm... I'm not sure about these "Remix" photo editing features πŸ€”. Google's always pushing AI-powered stuff and now they're telling us we can edit pics directly within chats? Sounds too good (or suspicious) to be true, right? Where's the source on how reliable is this feature? Don't wanna see my snaps get Photoshopped in a convo with some random dude πŸ˜’. And what about security? How do I know my edited pics aren't being stored somewhere? Need more info on that πŸ‘€

I'm utterly fascinated by Google's continued push into AI-powered photo editing with Remix in Google Messages 🀩. The fact that they're making this advanced feature more accessible to a wider range of Android devices is a testament to their commitment to user experience. I must admit, though, the idea of using past photos of labelled friends to personalize edits raises some interesting questions about data ownership and usage πŸ€”. Nevertheless, I think it's a great step forward in making photo editing more intuitive and enjoyable for users.

It's also worth noting that Google's updates seem to be focusing on enhancing the overall user experience, with features like Power Saving Mode and Pixel VIP notifications addressing specific pain points for Android users πŸ’». The introduction of Theme Packs, too, is a nice touch – while I'm not sold on the ad aspect just yet 😐, I do see potential in this feature as it evolves.

All in all, Google's latest updates are a great example of how companies can use technology to make life easier and more enjoyable for their users πŸ™.

OMG u guys!! 🀩 Google just dropped some EPIC updates!!! Remix in Google Messages is SO COOL!! I mean who needs a separate photo editing tool when you can do it RIGHT IN THE CHAT?! πŸ˜‚ And the fact that it uses past photos of friends to personalize edits is genius! It's like having your own personal assistant for your pics πŸ€“

And don't even get me started on Scam Detection... Pixel VIP notifications are a total GAME CHANGER! 🚨 Who wouldn't want to know about potential scams just by looking at their phone?! πŸ’» I'm so hyped about these updates! Google is literally the best! πŸ’– And that Power Saving Mode in Maps? Mind. Blown. 😴 I don't even need Android Auto for this feature... can we get it on all phones already?! 🀣

OMG u gotta try google's remix feature 🀯 its literally so easy to edit pics in messages without having to open another app 2 be honest i was kinda skeptical abt it @ first but now its like a dream 2 edit n share pics w anyone in a convo no need 2 have previous refs or know exactly how t edit lol its all about intuition & just havin fun with ur pics πŸ“Έ also, i dont mind the new theme pack for pixel 6 devices, its nice 2 c google givin us more options 4 customization πŸ‘

omg can u imagine having the power to edit pics right in your messages πŸ˜‚? it's like having an in-app photo studio πŸ“Έ! Remix in Google Messages is such a game changer, especially with all those sick features like using past photos of friends to personalize edits πŸ‘«. and now they're making it available on more android phones and tablets, that's just awesome 🀩. and the new Scam Detection feature? major lifesaver alert 🚨! no more getting duped by scammers 😳. and have you seen the new Power Saving Mode in Google Maps? that's like a miracle for your battery life ⚑️. i'm not even mad about the ad for the theme pack, it could be useful lol πŸ’β€β™€οΈπŸ‘

OMG, I'm so hyped about Remix in Google Messages! 🀩 I was using the old Nano Banana tool in Google Photos and it's been a game changer for me. Now that it's available on more Android phones and tablets, I can share edited pics with my friends who use different devices. It's also super cool that it uses past photos of labelled friends to personalize edits - it makes the editing process so much easier! πŸ“ΈπŸ‘ I'm glad Google is enhancing Scam Detection too, safety first! 😊 And, yeah, Power Saving Mode on Google Maps could be a lifesaver on long trips. I've been using it during Pixel Drops and it's been super helpful. Wicked: For Good theme pack sounds like a fun update - can't wait to try it out! πŸŽ‰

omg i remember when google photos was first released and nano banana was like the coolest thing ever lol now remix in google messages is like the next big thing πŸ˜‚ i'm loving how they're making it more accessible to everyone. personally i think adding past pics of labelled friends to personalize edits is genius, it's like having your own personal photo editor πŸ‘ what i'd love to see is a feature that lets you save edited pics directly to google drive so i can share them with my fam without using up too much storage space πŸ“

idk how i feel about google making remix available on more android phones... like its cool n all, but whats the point if u dont have a smartphone that can even run the thing lol πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ? also, wut s wrong with the nano banana feature?? wasnt that supposed to be retired by now? πŸ’ meanwhile, the new power saving mode for google maps sounds like a total game changer... idk about them using pixel 6 devices for scam detection tho, didnt they just release those? πŸ€”

remix in google messages is literally just a bunch of filters now πŸ˜’ its not even that hard to edit photos with the basic tools they've had for years... but hey who needs actual editing skills when you can just swipe through all these overpriced 'presets' πŸ€‘ at least it's nice to see some power saving mode on google maps, i mean who doesn't love a good screen blackout πŸ“΄ might be useful if i ever get my hands on that new pixel 9...

So they're making Remix in Google Messages available to even more Android phones and tablets now πŸ€”. I'm not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing... on one hand, it's nice that more people can edit photos directly within chats, but on the other hand, are we just creating more distractions in our lives with all these editing features? I mean, what's next? πŸ˜‚ Can't wait to see how this plays out. Also, what's up with the lack of official announcement about the Power Saving Mode and Android Auto compatibility? Shouldn't Google be transparent about their plans? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
