Put north of England 'front and centre' of net zero strategy, Reeves urged

lol I mean, who knew Sunderland was like a whole other economy just because they're into clean energy 🤣. Like, 6-7% of their economic output is from clean energy? That's like me living on pizza sales alone 💸. But seriously though, it's kinda cool that the north is already leading the way in this whole net zero thing. Maybe we should just let them do their own thing and see how it all plays out 🤔. The only worry is if Reform UK comes to power they'll be like, "Hey, clean energy is bad for business" and then everyone's like, "Oh no, what have we done?" 😂

I'm thinking that North England's got a huge advantage when it comes to net zero. They already have so much clean energy going on, it's crazy! But at the same time, I can see why they'd want to be careful - transitionin' to net zero is a big deal and you don't wanna leave any cities behind 🤔. Sunderland's already strugglin', I can imagine how bad it'd be if they lost even more jobs 💸. So yeah, puttin' the north at the forefront of this strategy would be the way to go. They're all about reindustrialisation and gettin' that economy fired up 🔥... fingers crossed the gov actually listens 🤞

🤔 This is so true! I mean, we all know that North England has been kinda neglected for ages, but come on, a net zero strategy can't just leave them behind 🚫. It's not like they don't have clean energy already going on, right? 🌞 Like, the whole industry thing is supporting 140k jobs or whatever... it's a big deal! 💼

But at the same time, we gotta think about the risks, you know? We can't just rush into this without considering how it might affect places like Sunderland. I mean, if they're already getting 6-7% of their economy from clean energy, it's a big part of what keeps them going... we don't want to take that away 🤕.

And then there's Reform UK and all that... I'm not sure what to make of it, but if they do start talking climate change denial, that can't be good for the economy 😬. We need to make sure whoever is in charge actually cares about this stuff and doesn't just screw it up.

I guess what I'm saying is we gotta have a clear plan here... one that puts North England right at the forefront of net zero, but also takes into account all the potential risks and benefits 🤝. Rachel Reeves needs to get her act together ASAP 🕒️!
