I think it's awesome that Pennsylvania saw a record-low number of car crash deaths last year, but we can't just celebrate yet!

I mean, speeding and drunk driving are still major issues, and it's crazy to me that men make up 72% of fatal crashes involving booze. Like, what's going on?

We need to do more than just increase awareness - we need to hold our leaders accountable for implementing stricter laws and enforcement.
And can we talk about how many people aren't wearing seatbelts?

That's, like, 40% of the fatalities?! It's insane. We need better education and outreach programs, not just more money thrown at the problem.

I'm all for investing in safety initiatives, but it needs to be a collective effort.
The fact that traffic volume surged on federal holidays is also super concerning

. We can't just expect people to drive safely when there are so many temptations out there (think: holiday shopping and festivities). Something's gotta change!
