... I mean, can you imagine being in a situation like that? You're just trying to live your life at home with family when suddenly it all goes haywire because of some guy's history of mental illness

. I get that they had to protect themselves, but it feels like there was so much room for a better outcome here

and yeah i get that the police are trying to protect themselves, but like multiple shots? shouldn't they be trained for de-escalation situations or something? 
i mean our city is so diverse and supposed to be open-minded, but still we got this kind of thing happening... it's just not right 
and btw, who needs a knife in a kitchen, that's just basic common sense right?

can't even go out without putting everyone else at risk what's going on with these mental health resources anyway?
