Nomad’s new wallet tracking card gets a battery life boost

Nomad's Latest Wallet Tracking Card Offers Improved Battery Life.

The new Tracking Card Pro from Nomad boasts a significantly longer battery life, lasting up to 16 months on a single charge, whereas its standard counterpart tops out at five months. The upgraded card comes with the same set of features as before, including support for Apple's Find My tracking network and audible alerts that trigger when you're less than 150 feet away.

Despite a slight increase in thickness to accommodate the larger battery, the Tracking Card Pro remains remarkably thin compared to other similar products, standing at just 2.5mm, whereas Nomad's standard model measures in at 1.7mm. However, its weight has increased marginally to 15 grams.

Wireless charging is still supported on the new card, but it lacks built-in magnets, instead relying on compatibility with Qi2-compatible magnetic charging pads or MagSafe chargers.

While the price tag for the Tracking Card Pro may be slightly steeper at $39, compared to the standard model's $29, buying two cards brings a 10% discount. Nonetheless, those seeking longer battery life might want to consider alternative options like Pebblebee's recently released Card 5 wallet tracker.

I'm loving the new Tracking Card Pro from Nomad! 😊 The 16-month battery life is huge for something so thin (2.5mm!) and light (15g). It's perfect for my daily life, I can just slap it on my backpack or purse without worrying about running out of power.

The design is sleek and minimalist, and the fact that it still supports wireless charging is a major plus. I wish they included built-in magnets though, it'd make life easier when traveling abroad 😊.

I'm tempted to get two Tracking Card Pros now because of the discount deal! 🤑 But then again, Pebblebee's Card 5 wallet tracker looks like an awesome alternative too... maybe I'll just have to keep both? 🤔

What do you guys think? Should I go with the upgrade or stick with my trusty old Nomad card? 🤔

so nomad just dropped an updated tracking card and its still kinda pricey 🤑 but I guess the extra battery life is worth it, right? i mean 16 months on a single charge is pretty impressive, especially considering how thin it is... like 2.5mm that's crazy slim! 💼 however, the weight increase might be a bit of a bummer for some people. and yeah, wireless charging still works but no built-in magnets which kinda makes me wonder if it was worth the extra $10 🤔 anyway, pebblebee's card 5 is out now too so that's another option to consider...

omg i know some ppl r dyin 2 get their hands on nomad's tracking card and now it seems like good news for those who wanna stay connected 4 a looong time...16 months is insane!! but its def worth noting that pebbleebee's new card 5 just dropped & thats an alternative option, prob cheaper too 🤑 might b worth checking out if u dont need all the extra features 🤔

I'm thinking that Nomad's upgrade on their Tracking Card is kinda cool 💡, but also kinda pricey 🤑. I mean, 16 months of battery life is a big deal, especially for someone who always forgets where they put their keys 🔑... like me 😅. But at $39, it's almost like they're asking you to commit to keeping track of your stuff for that long 🤯. Still, if you do want longer battery life and the tracking features are important to you, it's not a bad investment 💸. Maybe I'll splurge on one or two when I need a new wallet 🔜?

I gotta say, I'm loving the idea of longer battery life, but $39 is still a bit steep for me 😐. Don't get me wrong, it's a solid upgrade, and Nomad's usual reliability is a major plus. But, have you seen those Pebblebee prices? 💸 Still, if I were in the market for a new tracking card and didn't want to worry about running out of juice every week, I'd probably consider splurging on the Pro model... maybe 🤔

omg u guys! i think nomad just copied pebblebee's card 5 wallet tracker lol but seriously, improved battery life is def a game changer for me. i used to have to charge my tracking card every month and it was so annoying 🤯. the fact that its only $10 more than the standard model is pretty cool tho. idk about wireless charging tho...i'm all about convenience 😒. btw, pebblebee's got some pretty sick features too 💸

I'm so confused about these new tracking cards 🤔... I mean, isn't the point of having one that it stays charged for a while? Like, what's the big deal if it lasts 16 months vs 5? 💯 And don't get me wrong, I love how thin they are, but 15g is still pretty light 😊. I feel like I'd rather have a longer battery life than pay more money 🤑... maybe I'm just not tech-savvy enough, lol 👀

idk about nomads new tracking card pro...16 months is a pretty big deal, but i'm not sure its worth the extra $10. i mean, how often do you really need to track your stuff? 🤑 plus, i've heard pebblebee's card 5 is supposed to be pretty solid, and it's like, half the price. that being said, nomad does make some nice products, so if battery life is super important to you, maybe its worth the splurge...but for a casual user like me, i'll stick with my old tracking card 😉

I'm still trying to figure out why they made it thicker just to squeeze in more battery life . Like, I get the idea, but is it really worth it? The new Tracking Card Pro is $10 pricier than the standard model and I'm not convinced it's enough of an upgrade. And another thing, wireless charging is still kinda meh... shouldn't they just make it built-in like on all other wallets now? 🤔💸

And have you seen the latest Pebblebee wallet tracker? It's got more features for less money. I'm seriously considering ditching Nomad's Tracking Card Pro for that. The price difference is kinda steep, but I'd rather have the extra cash in my pocket 😏

omg u guyz! 🤩 nomad just dropped their new tracking card pro and it's literally the best thing since sliced bread 💯! 16 months of battery life is insane, i mean what even is that? 🤔 and yeah the thickness might be a lil more but come on, its still super thin compared to other trackers out there. i'm all about the upgrade, not the downgrade 😂. plus wireless charging is still supported which is a major win in my book 🎉. and honestly, who cares if it's a lil pricey at 39 bucks when u get a discount for buying two? that brings it down to like 34 or something 💸👍

🤔 so I was thinking about getting one of these tracking cards from Nomad and now that they have the pro version with 16 months battery life... it's a big deal 🤑 but also kinda pricey at $39 lol is it worth the extra cash tho? I mean, I'd need to use mine in like a dark cave or something for it to last that long 😂 anyone know if it's really waterproof or if it'll just collect dust under my bed 💤

I'm so hyped about Nomad's new Tracking Card Pro! I mean, who doesn't love having their valuables tracked on the go? The longer battery life is a game-changer - 16 months?! That's like, forever 🤯! And yeah, it's still super thin and slim, but the extra weight isn't a big deal for me. Wireless charging is still supported, which is awesome 📈. I was kinda worried about the price, but buying two cards brings that discount, so that's a win 😊. But hey, if you're looking for alternatives, Pebblebee's Card 5 wallet tracker just dropped and it seems like a solid option too 🤑.

omg u guys i'm so hyped about nomad's new tracking card pro tho it's literally changed the game for me i was struggling with my old one dying every 6 months but this thing is on a whole diff level 16 months is insane 🤯 and don't even get me started on how thin it is still only 2.5mm i mean, yeah it's a lil thicker than the original but honestly who doesn't love a good excuse to buy more storage? lol anyway, my main concern is about that price tho $39 feels kinda steep for just slightly longer battery life but hey buying two gets u a discount so i guess that's def a thing to consider now pebblebee's card 5 is another option but nomad's still got me hooked

I gotta say, I'm impressed by Nomad's upgrade in battery life 🤯 But 16 months is still kinda crazy talk for a tracking card... Don't get me wrong, it's great they're making it thinner and all that, but 15 grams is a bit more than I'd expect for something so small. Wireless charging still being supported is a major plus though 💸 And if you really need the extra battery life, two cards do bring a sweet discount 🤑 But, gotta say, Pebblebee's Card 5 is looking pretty promising right now...

I'm totally not sure about this... 🤔 The new Nomad Tracking Card Pro has improved battery life, which is awesome, but it's still $10 more than the standard model. I mean, if you need that extra battery life, it might be worth it, but for casual users, the standard model is a great option too... or should I say? Maybe the increased battery life isn't as important to some people, so they'd save money with the standard card? Either way, I think I'm gonna stick with my current wallet tracker... unless someone recommends me the Pebblebee Card 5... 🤷‍♂️

omg i'm so relieved nomad updated their tracking card lol 16 months is insane that's like almost a year and a half 💖💯 but honestly the slight increase in weight isn't so bad considering how thin it already was 🤞 i'd still take this over any other option right now tho the fact they kept wireless charging support is a major win for me too 🙌

omg u guys nomads new tracking card pro is literally game changing 💯 i was skeptical about the price at first but its def worth it for that extra 11 months of battery life lol 16 months feels like forever rn and its still so thin 2.5mm is insane 👀 i mean yeah its a bit thicker than the standard one but its still super thin compared to other stuff out there. and wireless charging is still supported which is a must have for me 📈 anyone else get this new card?
