I'm glad to hear that The New Pornographers are finally back with new music! It's been a tough three years for them, but it's amazing how they've managed to turn a difficult experience into something creative. 
I do feel bad for Joe Seiders though, the whole situation was pretty intense. But at least he's taking responsibility and serving his time. 
I love that they decided not to change their name, it's clear that identity is important to them as an artist. It's like Carl Newman said, "you don't put a price on what you've invested"
.This new album sounds super interesting, I'm intrigued by the concept of ten short stories and how it'll be different from their previous work. Can't wait to dive in!
