I'm feeling kinda down about this whole thing

... thinkin' 'bout how democracy's supposed to be all about people's voices and freedom of expression, but in Myanmar, it seems like the military just used its influence to manipulate the system... that 55% voter turnout sounds super low, especially compared to before the pandemic

. And what really gets me is that the UN Special Rapporteur on Myanmar said the election was basically a sham orchestrated by the military... it's like they're trying to silence the people who want real change

.
I'm also thinkin' 'bout how this election outcome will impact the lives of all those people affected by the conflict in Myanmar, where one-third of the country's territory is just excluded from the process entirely

. The thought of over 92,000 people losin' their lives since the coup just breaks my heart... it feels like we're standin' by and watchin' as a whole nation gets torn apart

.
I don't know man, feelin' kinda hopeless about the future of Myanmar right now

. We should be doin' more to support the people who are fightin' for their rights and democracy... maybe we can learn somethin' from this experience and become better allies in the fight against authoritarianism
