MTA still finishing work on Second Ave. subway stations that opened in 2017

I'm getting so frustrated with this Second Avenue subway thing 🤯! Like, we're talking about a line that's over 10 years old and still needs like, major work done on it? It's not just the money, but the fact that it was opened in a rush job because Cuomo wanted to make a deal. I get it, we need our subway system fixed, but can't they do it right for once?

And don't even get me started on all the other stations that are still unfinished. It's like, come on MTA, can't you prioritize? We've been dealing with service meltdowns and whatnot because of these delays. And now we're supposed to just sit back and wait for them to finish it up? No way, I'll be keeping an eye on this one 👀

Ugh, can you believe this? 🙄 The MTA has been struggling with the Second Avenue subway construction for ages and it's still not done 🤯. Like, what happened to Cuomo's "we're gonna get this done" vibe all those years ago? 😂 Now we're seeing new work being unveiled and it's like, yay progress, but also, where did all that money go? 💸 I mean, I know infrastructure is a big deal and all, but it feels like the MTA's always playing catch-up 🏃‍♂️.

I'm low-key kinda annoyed at Cuomo for pushing this project through despite everyone's concerns 🤦‍♀️. Like, we get it, he was trying to make progress, but couldn't have he just been all "we need more funding for X and Y" instead of rushing things? 💸 It's like that movie where they're always running late 🚂.

I'm also wondering when we'll see some real fixes done on the subway system. The Summer of Hell was wild 😨, I remember riding the subway during that time and it was like a nightmare 🤯. If the MTA can't even get this stuff done right now, how are they gonna fix all these other problems? 🤔 Only time will tell, I guess 💯.

I mean can you believe this? They're finally doing something about that second avenue subway line after 10 years of opening and closing it 🤯. I remember 'The Summer of Hell' back in 2017, it was a nightmare out there! And now they're trying to slap some finishing touches on the whole thing. $50 million is a drop in the bucket compared to all the money that's been spent already, but I guess you gotta do what you gotta do 💸. The thing is though, why didn't they catch these problems before? It just goes to show that politics and priorities can be super whack when it comes to infrastructure 🤦‍♂️. We need some real solutions here!

omg can't believe it's taken this long to fix the second avenue subway!!! 🙄😩 i mean i get that infrastructure is a big deal but come on mta when will we see some real progress? 💸🚂 at least they're trying now tho, fingers crossed everything gets done without too many more delays 🤞🔧
