Mika looks back: 'Nowadays you wouldn't get away with the things journalists said about my sexuality in the noughties'

idk why ppl still bring up the 2000s drama tho πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ mika's had it worse, he was taken hostage during the gulf war and had to deal with dyslexia too so yeah, let's just give him some respect already πŸ’― his mom was literally his rock and we should be thanking her for being so supportive πŸ™ i mean, who else would've pushed their kid into 5 hours of music lessons daily after they got expelled from school? 🎢 anywayz, hyperlove sounds amazing can't wait to check it out 🎡

😊 you know what's wild mika was literally bullied and scrutinized as a kid over being dyslexic and having a non conventional upbringing 🀯 and now he's unapologetically himself in his 40s, living proof that we can rise above all the drama πŸ’–

Dude πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ I'm still surprised at how much easier things are for Mika now compared to back in the noughties. All that scrutiny and criticism must've been super tough on him, especially when it came to his sexuality. It's amazing that he was able to channel all that anger into music and turn it into something powerful like "Grace Kelly". I can only imagine how hard it must've been for him as a teenager, dealing with dyslexia and nighttime struggles. His mom was totally the real MVP though πŸ™, pushing him towards music and helping him find his passion. And now he's 39 and still killing it! He seems like such a strong, confident person now, but I can imagine how liberating it must feel to have that freedom as an artist. Hyperlove is definitely going to be a game-changer 🎢

lol I just watched that interview of Mika's 🎀... I gotta say, the dude has come so far from those crazy 2000s days πŸ˜‚ he was totally haterated by the press back then lol... I mean who can blame him tho? Accusing someone of being "brazen" is just shade πŸ™„ anyway, it's awesome to see him now embracing his true self and creating music that's all about empowerment πŸ’– that album Hyperlove sounds so fire πŸ”₯ gotta give props to the dude for finding his voice and staying true to himself πŸ‘

I feel bad for all the young artists who had to deal with harsh criticism back in the day πŸ€•. Mika's story is so inspiring, I love how he credits his parents and childhood experiences for shaping him into the person he is today πŸ™. It's crazy to think that if he was still under that much scrutiny now, we might not have gotten to enjoy some of his amazing music 🎢. And can we talk about how much his mom supported him through all that? Five hours of music lessons daily? That's dedication πŸ’–. I'm so glad he's found this "unbelievable time" of creative freedom and is using it to make even more incredible music πŸ’₯!

omg u know i was just thinkin bout mika's song "grace kelly" 🀯 it's like he took all his pain & frustration & turned it into this stunning masterpiece 🎢 i remember when that song came out, people were talkin bad about him coz of his queerness πŸ’– but now we see how brave he was 2 be himself in a time when it was hard 😊 what i love bout mika's story is how he found his strength & purpose through music πŸ‘
