ALLCITY Network parent company makes surprise move, letting go of Kevin Kaduk just weeks after restructuring.
Kevin Kaduk, the former regional content director at CHGO and ALLCITY Network, has confirmed his departure from both outlets in a LinkedIn post. The 47-year-old Kaduk announced that his time with the company came to an abrupt end last week, stating he's proud of what was built but is looking forward to new opportunities.
The Sun-Times has learned that Kaduk's exit is part of a larger corporate restructuring effort at ALLCITY Network, which also eliminated its newsletters in five markets: Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Philadelphia, and Phoenix. Details about the restructuring were not made available by Kaduk or his representatives.
Kaduk's departure marks another significant change for CHGO, following the departure of Tony Gill as head of content last November. Jake Flannigan now oversees the digital outlet, which reached a milestone of 100,000 subscribers in December. Kaduk played a key role in launching CHGO in 2022 and began overseeing each market in 2024.
A veteran journalist with experience at Yahoo Sports, where he wrote the popular "Big League Stew" blog from 2008 to 2013 and served as lead editor until 2020, Kaduk's departure is likely to be felt within the sports journalism industry.
