Israel extends ban on Al Jazeera’s operations by 90 days

I'm worried about the impact this is gonna have on journalism 🤔. I mean, isn't it supposed to be free to report on what's happening? It seems like they're trying to control what people can and can't talk about online or on TV... 📺. Can't we just focus on telling the stories that need to be told without worrying about getting our necks broken? 💔 This feels like a slippery slope where journalists start to get silenced because of who's reporting on certain topics. What's next, I guess? 😬

I don't think this is a good move from Israel 🤔. I mean, come on, 9 days notice? That's not exactly transparent, if you ask me 😒. And what about due process? Are they really gonna let a network just get shut down without even giving them a chance to defend themselves? 🙄

And let's be real here, this is all about suppressing free speech and controlling the narrative 📰. Al Jazeera is doing its job as a news org, and if it's ruffling some feathers in Israel, that's just part of the deal 💁‍♀️.

I'm not buying the whole "threat to national security" thing either 🚫. That sounds like a pretty weak excuse to me 😂. And what about all those times Al Jazeera has reported on other countries' human rights abuses? Is that suddenly okay? 🤷‍♂️

😒 this is getting outta hand... a 90 day extension? that's just delaying the inevitable 🙄 al jazeera's not even allowing itself to be silenced by israel 🤥 i mean what's next? another 6 month ban? 🚫 a year? 🤯 and all because they reported on some war crimes in gaza 🌹 news orgs have a job to do, you can't just shut them down 'cause it makes you uncomfortable 😒 and btw, al jazeera's not being a threat to national security... israel's the one who's always talking about defending itself 🤯 meanwhile, they're doing all the oppressing 🚫 gotta keep an eye on this 👀
