I think some parents are being way too harsh on sweets, you know? I mean, my nephew's just super energetic when he's around his friends and has a bowl of cereal together . Is that 'hyperactive' or just him being a ball of energy like most kids? And have you seen those sweetened drinks they're always sipping on at school? Like, yeah, those are probably the ones causing the problem... no they're not
I gotta say, this sugar thing is a whole mess . So they're saying it's not just about the sugar itself, but also all the additives and caffeine in those sweet drinks... like, what's the deal? Can't we just cut back on the sugary stuff and be done with it? And yeah, I get that hyperactivity is subjective, but still, it's hard to justify eating an entire can of soda a day . Not to mention all the other health issues that come with high sugar intake... like obesity and diabetes . So yeah, maybe we should just stick to fruits and veggies or something .
