Blended whisky is like my go-to spirit when I'm feeling stressed 
. Don't get me wrong, single malts are nice and all, but blended whiskies just hit the spot every time for me. The whole elitism thing around single malts can be a bit much, you know? Like, I get it, they're special and all that jazz 
, but there's so many amazing blends out there too 
. And yeah, I've heard of Compass Box before - they seem like the real deal 
. But for me, blended whiskies will always be where it's at

The prices are way more reasonable too. Thompson Bros' SRV5 is an awesome find at £34.25 - that's crazy value for the quality. I've also been eyeing some of the Compass Box releases, like Orchard House, it sounds amazing. And yeah, everyone should be able to enjoy whisky their own way, no need to feel pressured into single malt just because everyone else is drinking it 
like seriously have you tried Thompson Bros' 8-Year Old Blended Malt SRV5? it's literally a game changer for under £35!!! i know some people are all about single malts but let's be real blended whiskies are the unsung heroes of scotland's liquor scene 
and compass box is doing a amazing job bringing this style back to life
