Here’s the Company That Sold DHS ICE’s Notorious Face Recognition App

Ugh 🙄, this is getting out of hand... I mean, I'm not saying the government should be transparent about their AI use cases or anything 😒, but come on, 2025 and they're still using face recognition apps? It's like they think we're all just going to blindly trust them with our identities 🤦‍♂️. And what really gets my goat is that they're trying to spin this as a tool for "quickly confirming people's identity" while ignoring the fact that it can easily be misused 🚨. I mean, who needs confirmation when you have due process? 🙄 It's like they're trying to create a surveillance state without even bothering to tell us 😳. And what about those pesky concerns about accuracy and bias? Just swept under the rug 👋. Anyway, NEC doesn't want to talk about how their face recognition solution was trained or fine-tuned... typical 🤔.
