I think its pretty wild that these sharks are basically like us humans migrating to different places for food and shelter 
. And yeah some ppl might say they're not endangered but i dont think thats entirely accurate cuz we just dont know enough about them yet. I mean have u seen the size of Contender? 13.8 feet is HUGE! how can we even be sure he's not a threat to humans?

i love how ocearch is working on this and sharing it all with us, like we can actually follow Contender's journey and see where he goes next. it's like a shark reality tv show 
but for real though, it's so cool to think that we're learning more about these incredible creatures and their habitats. and the fact that they're not endangered in the atlantic ocean is a big deal 
His journey highlights just how much we can learn from technology and collaboration between scientists and the public.
. It just goes to show how much we still have to learn about our ocean's inhabitants.
32 years old is crazy, and it's mind-blowing to think that Contender has been swimming around in the ocean since he was like, 10!
