Giants co-owner Steve Tisch says he never visited Epstein's island and regrets associating with him

US Football Team Co-owner Acknowledges Past Association with Molester

In a statement provided by the NFL team he represents, Steve Tisch, co-owner of the New York Giants, has publicly acknowledged his connection to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Tisch claims they had a brief association through emails discussing various topics such as women, movies, philanthropy, and investments.

However, when pressed on whether he ever visited Epstein's private island in the Caribbean, Tisch vehemently denied any involvement, stating "I never went to his island." He also expressed regret for associating with Epstein, describing him as a "terrible person."

Tisch's denials come after thousands of emails were released by the US justice department, revealing Epstein's connections to numerous high-profile individuals. Notably, Tisch was not charged in connection with any crimes linked to Epstein's investigation.

The 76-year-old businessman has also been linked to other endeavors beyond his involvement with the Giants. In 1994, he won an Academy Award for producing the movie Forrest Gump.

Tisch's father bought a majority stake in the team back in 1991 from the Mara family. With this latest revelation, Tisch's reputation comes under scrutiny over his past association with Epstein, who died by suicide in a New York jail cell last August while facing federal sex trafficking charges.

I'm not sure why someone like him would keep having those kinds of connections, you know? I mean, even if it was just emails about random stuff, it's still weird that he didn't mention it sooner. And now all these emails are out and people are making a big deal about it... I get it, Epstein was a bad guy and should've never been associated with someone like Tisch. It's like, you can make mistakes in the past but some of this stuff is just gross. I'm also kinda wondering what else he might be hiding from us... all these awards he won for movies... did they really know who he was back then?

πŸ€• this is so messed up what was going through that guy's mind associating with someone like epstein? πŸ™„ and to deny ever visiting his private island after thousands of emails were released πŸ“ sounds really fishy to me. I feel bad for the victims and their families who have to deal with all this drama again πŸ’”. Tisch's got some explaining to do, but at least he acknowledged that he was wrong about Epstein... maybe next time he'll think twice before moving on from a connection 🀞

I'm kinda shocked by this news 🀯. I mean, you hear about people like Jeffrey Epstein and it's like, how did he get away with all that? And now Steve Tisch is saying they just talked about random stuff through emails... I don't know, man. It seems kinda weird that he only acknowledges the connection after all these years πŸ€”. I guess it's good that he's owning up to it and saying he regrets it, but what's gonna happen next? Is anyone gonna hold him accountable for his dad buying into the team with ties to Epstein? I was watching Forrest Gump the other day, that's a classic movie πŸŽ₯. Does Steve Tisch have any kids or grandkids who are involved in sports?

omg can you believe this 🀯! so like steve tisch is all like "I never went to epstein's island" but like the emails are straight out of his inbox πŸ“§πŸ‘€ and he's still trying to spin it? i mean i feel bad for the victims of course, but like come on man πŸ™„. and can we talk about how rich and connected this guy was, winning an academy award and owning a nfl team all while being pals with epstein πŸ€‘. anyway, hopefully tisch gets some heat over this and it brings some much needed accountability to his side of the story πŸ”₯

omg just saw that steve tisch co owns the giants and he admitted to knowing epstein but never went to his island lol what a weird statement why would anyone ever claim that anyway i feel bad for the victims of epstein's abuse tho πŸ€•πŸš« that award for forest gump is so cool though how did you find out about tisch's connection to epstein btw

πŸ˜• I just saw this thread and I gotta say, it's weird that Steve Tisch is coming clean now after all these emails were released. Like, what took him so long to own up? πŸ€” And his dad buying a majority stake in the Giants in 1991, that's some wild info. πŸŽ₯ Did you guys know he won an Oscar for Forrest Gump? That's actually pretty cool! 😊 But seriously, it's all about accountability and making sure these kinds of associations don't happen again. I'm just glad Tisch is taking responsibility for his past actions. πŸ‘

omg I'm still trying to wrap my head around this news 🀯 like how could he not know about the whole thing tho? I mean, thousands of emails and stuff... I guess it's good that he said he regretted associating with Epstein, but at the same time, I feel bad for his victims πŸ’”. and can we talk about Forrest Gump for a sec? I love that movie πŸŽ₯ I wonder if Tisch was really involved in its production or if someone else did all the work behind the scenes... also, what's up with private islands in the Caribbean? Is it just a thing for rich people to own, like a vacation home or something? πŸ–οΈ

I'm really surprised that Steve Tisch is only acknowledging his connection to Jeffrey Epstein now, it feels like he was trying to sweep it under the rug all these years πŸ€”. I mean, can you blame anyone for wanting to distance themselves from a convicted sex offender? But at the same time, it's weird that he's denying ever visiting Epstein's private island - if that were true, wouldn't he have been all over the news by now? πŸ“°

I'm also thinking about how this new info is going to affect Tisch's reputation as a businessman and owner of the Giants. I don't think there's anything wrong with his work on Forrest Gump or producing other successful movies - but this connection to Epstein is a whole different story. It's just good that he's owning up to it now, even if he did say some pretty vague stuff about their association 😐.

It's also interesting to see how the NFL is handling this situation. I'm not sure what kind of protocol they have in place for co-owners with past connections to convicted sex offenders - but hopefully, they're going to take a closer look at Tisch's involvement and make sure he's not involved in anything that could bring shame to the team 🏈.

this is a huge mess for the Giants... i mean who knew tisch had such close ties to epstein? it's like he's trying to downplay the whole thing but those emails are pretty damning. can't believe he's denying visiting epstein's island tho, that's just weird. and what's with his dad owning the team all these years? does that mean they knew about tisch's connections too? i'm not sure how this is gonna play out in terms of public perception... on one hand, it's good that tisch's acknowledging his past association but on the other, he's still a co-owner of the team. not sure what kind of damage control is possible at this point πŸ€”

I'm pretty disappointed to hear that Steve Tisch has acknowledged his connection to Jeffrey Epstein πŸ€•. While it's good that he's taking responsibility and expressing regret for his association, I think it's super worrying that he never actually visited Epstein's private island, despite denying it vehemently 😬. Thousands of emails have been released showing how connected they were, so it feels like a major omission on his part.

It's also pretty wild to think about all the other things Tisch has been involved in - from producing Forrest Gump to being a co-owner of the New York Giants 🏈. I mean, who doesn't love football? But what's even more interesting is how this latest revelation might affect the NFL as a whole. Are there going to be any major repercussions for other teams or owners who might have connections to Epstein too?

Personally, I think it's time for the NFL to take a closer look at their past dealings with Epstein and make sure that no one else gets caught up in his shady web of influence πŸ’―. After all, as a public figure, Tisch has a responsibility to be more transparent about his associations - especially when it comes to something as serious as a convicted sex offender 🀝.

πŸ€” I'm not buying it when he says they only had emails about 'women, movies, philanthropy' stuff. It sounds like he's trying to downplay their connection. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ And why should we believe him? Emails don't necessarily mean you're friends or that you've got nothing to hide. Plus, what's the real reason behind his denials about visiting Epstein's island? It's just fishy. πŸ˜’

My god 🀯, I'm so glad the Giants co-owner is finally coming clean about his connection to Epstein πŸ˜”. As a parent, it's just devastating to think that a powerful figure like Steve Tisch could be associated with someone as despicable as Epstein. The fact that he denied visiting Epstein's private island makes me wonder what else he might be hiding... πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ

It's also crazy to think about how many years this has been going on and no one knew until now 😱. Thousands of emails were released, but I guess the truth just came out when it was convenient for Tisch? Not cool, dude πŸ‘Ž.

As a fan of the Giants, I want to see some accountability from the team and its leadership 🏈πŸ’ͺ. How did this guy manage to keep such a huge secret for so long?! It's unacceptable, especially considering all the good work he's done in the film industry πŸŽ₯ (winning an Oscar is impressive!).

Time for Tisch to take responsibility and be more transparent about his past actions πŸ‘Š. As a parent, it's hard not to worry about the kind of role models our kids are looking up to... πŸ€”

OMG, can you even imagine being co-owner of a football team and not knowing about your buddy's questionable life 🀯? I mean, Tisch seems like a genuinely nice guy now that he's speaking out, but it's still wild how much he didn't know about Epstein's dark side. And 1994 was like, a whole different era for the Giants... 🏈πŸŽ₯ Forrest Gump is a classic! But seriously, this just goes to show how important it is to be aware of our associations and connections in life. It's not always easy to see what others might be up to behind closed doors πŸ’‘

πŸ€” This guy's got some serious nerve thinking he can just brush off a history with a convicted pedophile and no one calls him out on it... πŸ˜’ I mean, what is this, 1994 or something? You win an Oscar for Forrest Gump and then you're cool with owning a piece of a football team that's got a lot to answer for when it comes to women's rights in the NFL? πŸˆπŸ‘Ž

man i dont think its fair to just jump all over steve tisch for something that happened years ago... theyre releasing thousands of emails now? that's like trying to rewrite history or somethin 🀯 anyway, it sounds like he wasnt involved in anythin bad with epstein, and even said he regretted associatin with him. but at the same time, you gotta wonder what else we dont know... tisch also has a pretty solid rep outside of football, won an oscar for producin forrest gump πŸŽ₯ i think we should give guy a break, especially since epstein's still dead and can't defend himself

I'm feeling kinda mixed about this whole thing πŸ€”... I mean, it's one thing to acknowledge you knew someone who was a terrible person and another to claim you had no involvement with them, especially when emails are released showing otherwise πŸ“. It's like Tisch is trying to distance himself from Epstein, but at the same time, he can't help but have this stain on his own reputation. I'm not sure what's more concerning, the fact that he knew Epstein or that he was involved in some way... even if it was just a casual association πŸ˜•. And can you believe the emails were hidden for so long? It's like they wanted to keep this under wraps 🀫.

You can't start the next chapter of your life if you keep re-reading the last one πŸ“šπŸ’”. Time to move on from this dark past and focus on the positive impact you can have with your team, Steve Tisch... or should I say, without it πŸ˜…πŸ‘Š

I'm not sure what to think about this πŸ€”... I mean, come on, Steve Tisch is saying he had some emails with Jeffrey Epstein and that's it, but those emails are like, super incriminating... 🚫 I don't know, man, maybe Tisch is just trying to cover his own tracks... or maybe he really didn't go to that island and that's why we should believe him πŸ˜‚. Wait, no, that doesn't make sense... if he had those emails, he must have gone there at least once, right? πŸ€¦β€β™‚οΈ I'm just so confused about this whole thing, it's like, my brain is spinning... πŸ”„

πŸ€” So I'm reading about Steve Tisch and his connection to Jeffrey Epstein and I gotta say, it's wild how much info came out of the thousands of emails released. Like, what was going on behind closed doors with these high-profile people? And it's crazy that Tisch is denying visiting Epstein's island, but at the same time saying he regrets associating with him... like, isn't regret kinda implying you did go there? πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ And can we talk about how Epstein was able to connect with so many powerful people without anyone batting an eye? It's mind-boggling. 🀯
