Gerard Butler’s ‘Greenland 2: Migration’ New On Streaming This Week, Report Says

Gerard Butler's post-apocalyptic thriller Greenland 2: Migration will hit digital streaming platforms this week, according to reports. The film follows the Garrity family - consisting of Gerard Butler, Morena Baccarin, and Roman Griffin Davis - as they navigate a desolate world five years after a comet strike decimated most of Earth.

Directed by Ric Roman Waugh, Greenland 2: Migration marks the latest installment in the franchise, which debuted on January 9. The official synopsis teases an epic journey as the family embarks on a perilous quest to find a new home amidst the devastation.

Ratings indicate that Greenland 2: Migration is set for digital release on premium video on demand (PVOD) this Tuesday. However, Lionsgate has not officially confirmed or announced the date, which may be subject to change. When available, viewers can expect to purchase the film on Apple TV, Fandango at Home, Prime Video, and YouTube Movies & TV for $24.99.

The rental price for Greenland 2: Migration is expected to be slightly lower, at around $19.99 for 48 hours, a common digital pricing structure.

In an interview with Space.com earlier this month, Gerard Butler discussed the distinct tone of the sequel. "I think we really wanted to try and make a different kind of disaster survival thriller in the first movie," he stated. The focus shifted from grand special effects to an intimate, personal perspective, exploring how individuals react when societal structures crumble.

With Greenland 2: Migration set for release on PVOD this week, fans can look forward to reuniting with the Garrity family as they face new challenges in their post-apocalyptic world.

OMG u guys I'm so stoked to see Gerard Butler back as Noah Garrity! 🤩 He's such an amazing actor and I loved him in the first movie too! 🙌 The trailer looks intense and I love how it's all about family survival over big special effects. $24.99 for a full movie? That's a bit steep, but I guess u get what u pay 4 😒 Can't wait to see the rest of the Garrity fam in action and find out what happens next 🎥👀

just watched a preview of Greenland 2: Migration 🌪️ and gotta say, I'm hyped! Gerard Butler's performance as a dad trying to keep his family alive in this crazy world is so relatable 🤝. the way they tackle the whole 'survival' thing with such humanity & empathy is really inspiring ✨. can't wait to binge-watch the whole thing on Apple TV and see how the Garrity crew navigates this harsh new world 📺. 24.99 seems like a steal for premium PVOD, especially since it's not just about grand effects but also those intense family moments 💖

OMG, I'm so stoked for the sequel! 😆 The first one was intense, but the thought of seeing the Garrity family navigate a desolate world 5 years after the comet strike is really getting me hyped 🤯. Gerard Butler's interview made sense to me too - it sounds like they're taking a more personal approach this time around, which I think will make for a really gripping watch 👍. Plus, the fact that it'll be on PVOD means we can stream it whenever we want, which is perfect for those of us who prefer binge-watching 😂. Have you guys seen the trailer? 🤔

OMG, I'm super hyped about Greenland 2: Migration 🤩! I've been waiting for this sequel for ages and it sounds like it's gonna be even more intense than the first one 💥. Gerard Butler's explanation about shifting the focus from grand effects to a personal, intimate story resonates with me - it's all about how we humans respond when our world is torn apart 🌎. I'm all about that survival thriller vibe and I love that Morena Baccarin and Roman Griffin Davis are back as part of the Garrity family 👪. Can't wait to see what challenges they'll face in this new installment! 📺

I'm not really sure why they're releasing another part of this Greenland franchise 🤔. The first one was decent, I guess. Gerard Butler's character was pretty intense, but it felt like just a bunch of action and not much depth to the story. Plus, who gets excited about a comet hitting the earth? 😒 It sounds like more of the same old survival crap to me. But hey, if you're into that sorta thing, go for it! Maybe they've improved on the storytelling this time around... probably not 🤷‍♂️

OMG u guys I just saw the trailer for Gerard Butler's new movie Greenland 2: Migration 🌊 and it looks SO intense!!! I'm literally on edge thinking about the Garrity family's journey to find a new home amidst all the devastation. I love how the movie is focusing more on the personal struggles of the characters rather than just big effects 🤯, Gerard Butler spoke up in an interview saying they wanted to make a different kind of disaster thriller... and I'm here for it! 💪 I'll def be streaming this one ASAP with my squad, who's excited? 🎥

just got wind that Gerard Butler's Greenland 2 is dropping on digital streaming platforms this week 🤔💻, and I gotta say, I'm a bit curious about how it's gonna play out after the first one... was kinda hoping for more action tho 😐 still think the family drama aspect will be where the real interest lies though 👪.

I'm telling you, something fishy is going on here 🤑... Lionsgate is super secretive about the release date and prices? That's not normal. And what's up with the sudden change to PVOD? It's like they're trying to control our viewing experience. I mean, have you seen the trailer for Greenland 2: Migration? The family's all like "oh no, we need a new home", but I'm thinking... who benefits from this chaos? 🤔 The corporations and governments are gonna make bank off this disaster scenario, mark my words! And that $24.99 price tag is just a cover for the real cost: our freedom to choose how we want to consume content 🚫. Trust me, folks, there's more to this movie than meets the eye...

🌎 I'm not really sure why we're spending so much time and money on sci-fi movies like Greenland 2: Migration when there are real-world issues that need attention 🤔. Like, have you seen the latest reports on climate change? It's not exactly a post-apocalyptic scenario, but it feels pretty dire right now ⏰. Can't we invest in films that tackle these pressing concerns instead of just entertainment for the masses? 💡
