GB basketball: women's general manager and head coach quit

Ugh, this is not what we need right now... 🤕 Like, can't they even keep their own house in order? The whole team's future is at stake and they're over here stressing about resources being limited 🤑. It's like, get it together, Basketball England! 💪 And what's with all the drama surrounding Jacob Lloyd and Stella Kaltsidou? Can we just focus on finding someone who can actually help this sport move forward? 🤔

🤔 This whole situation with Jacob Lloyd and Stella Kaltsidou leaving Great Britain women's basketball is like, super concerning 😬. I mean, Lloyd was just trying to do his job and provide a good service for the players, but it sounds like he got stuck in this bureaucratic mess. The fact that he felt he had no choice but to quit due to "communicational and operational" issues is just crazy 🤯.

And what's even more worrying is that Lloyd thinks elite women's basketball in Britain is at a "crossroads" and might not survive if they don't change their ways 🚨. He's right, though - the national team needs professional-level conditions to compete with other top teams around the world. It's like, we need better resources and support for our athletes, you know? 💪

The BBF's collapse has just added another layer of complexity to this whole situation 🤷‍♀️. I feel bad for Lloyd and Kaltsidou - they were trying to do their best with what they had, but it was just impossible in the end.

I hope that Basketball England can find someone who actually knows what they're doing and can help turn things around 💕. We need to support our women's basketball team and make sure they have the resources they need to succeed 🌟

😔 I can imagine how stressful and overwhelming it must be for all the stakeholders involved. It's like, they're trying to rebuild and grow the sport from scratch, but there are just so many obstacles in the way. The fact that elite women's basketball is at a "crossroads" really gets me - what does that even mean? Is it like, stuck between being okay and not being okay?

I feel bad for Jacob Lloyd and Stella Kaltsidou, they must have put their hearts and souls into trying to make the organization work. But at the same time, I can understand why they would leave if they felt like resources were limited and there was no support system in place. 🤕 It's just so frustrating when you're trying to do something good, but it feels like you're fighting an uphill battle.

I hope that whoever takes over the BBF will be able to bring some stability and progress to the sport. The women's national team deserves better than to be "a million miles off" from where they should be. 🚀 Let's keep our fingers crossed for a brighter future! 💪

😬 this is super worrying - great britain women's hoops has been struggling since the bbf collapsed, but jacob lloyd and stella kaltsidou's departure is a massive blow 🤕 they were trying to shake things up, but it sounds like resources are still a huge issue 💸 i mean, who can blame them for leaving when u're not getting the support u need? 🤷‍♀️ at least basketball england is acknowledging that and showing appreciation 4 their commitment 🙏 but now they gotta figure out how to find someone who can turn things around... fingers crossed it's not too late! 💪

I don't know what's going on with this GB women's hoops team 🤔. I mean, first they get rid of their coach and GM, and now they're saying they're at a "crossroads"? That sounds like a pretty dramatic way to put it, you know? Like, I've heard of teams struggling before, but "a million miles off" from where they were in 2019? That's just kinda scary. And what's with all the instability? The BBF went down and now they're scrambling to find new leadership... how are they supposed to build a strong team when everything is so up in the air? 🤷‍♂️

man this is crazy stuff 🤯 what's going on with british womens hoops is just getting out of hand lol they need to sort this out ASAP can't believe the ppl running it dont have a clue 💔 i mean elite women's hoops needs pro conditions not amateur hour 2025 and its still struggling 😩 my money's on basketball england trying to get it together tho fingers crossed 🤞
