I'm so done with this whole thing
. Like, can't we just get along and fix our infrastructure already? The Hudson River Tunnel Project is literally the last thing we need right now. I mean, think about it - one of the most heavily used transit corridors in the country is on the verge of collapse because some bureaucrats decided to play politics with funding
. And what's the holdup? A stupid administrative procedure act thingy... like, hello! Can't they just get over themselves and fund the project already?!
And let's not even get started on the Gateway Commission's warnings that construction could halt as soon as this Friday
. I mean, what's going to happen then? Just abandon ship and leave us high and dry? No thank you! We need this tunnel project now more than ever - our economy is counting on it
.
I just wish both sides would calm down and talk things through instead of playing politics with the future of New York/New Jersey
. Can't we all just get along and make some progress for once?
