FBI Launches Hunt for Gunman Who Shot Brinks Guard in Brighton Park
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is seeking information about a brazen shooting that took place on December 23 outside the Chase Bank location in Brighton Park, where an armored truck guard was shot and seriously injured.
A reward of up to $10,000 has been offered for any information leading to the arrest and conviction of the shooter. According to authorities, the gunman made a verbal demand for money before shooting the guard at around 9:53 am. The victim was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
The FBI described the suspect as a male with a slim and athletic build, wearing a dark puffer jacket, a dark face mask, dark sunglasses, dark pants, and dark athletic shoes. He escaped on foot in a bronze Hyundai Elantra sedan with tinted windows.
