I'm getting a bit worried about where we're headed in this country . Reminds me of Nixon's time, all those secret meetings and whatnot... feels like that same kind of erosion of trust, you know? And these propaganda machines they got now? It's like something out of a dystopian novel . I just wish journalists could keep doing their thing without fear of reprisal or having to fact-check everything. That Jill Garvey from ICE Watch is doing some great work, by the way... reminds me of all those community organizers back in the 60s, fighting for justice and equality .

Anyway, supporting The Intercept's efforts? Yeah, that's a good idea. Maybe they can keep a watchful eye on things and make sure we don't lose ourselves to the madness .

I'm so done with this country , it feels like we're losing our democratic foundations under Trump's rule. The way he's manipulating info and using propaganda to get what he wants is super concerning . And now that we've got ICE Watch training people up on documenting those federal agents, I wish they'd also focus more on how we can hold these powerful people accountable . It's all about community organizing and staying vigilant, but sometimes it feels like we're fighting a losing battle . Anyway, I'll be keeping an eye on The Intercept, maybe they can do some in-depth reporting on this stuff .

I'm so down with the idea that press freedom is literally key to defending democracy! We need more journalists like the ones being highlighted in this podcast, fighting for truth and fact-based reporting over propaganda and misinformation. The rise of authoritarianism under Trump's presidency is super concerning and it's awesome that community-based documentation initiatives like ICE Watch are popping up to hold federal agents accountable . We gotta keep supporting organizations like The Intercept and training our communities to stay vigilant and organize!

I'm getting really worried about what's going on in our country right now . It feels like we're losing control and it's all happening under Donald Trump's watch. I don't understand how propaganda can be so powerful - isn't that just a fancy word for lying to people? And the thing is, everyone seems to get caught up in it without even realizing they're being lied to.

I've been hearing about this ICE Watch program and it makes sense to me. If we all look out for each other, we can keep our communities safe from these guys who are just doing their jobs. But at what cost? It feels like we're living in a constant state of fear and I don't know how much more of that I can take.

I wish The Intercept was getting the support they need to do their job - they seem like the only ones willing to call out the truth. Can we really rely on them to keep us informed? Only time will tell, but for now, it's hard not to feel scared and uncertain about our future.
