Earth and Other Planets review – reimagined Holst with harmonica and a hoedown

This is so bloody brilliant 🤯! I mean, who would've thought to put a hoedown in 'Venus'? The energy was electric and it completely flipped my expectations on its head. I loved how the folk influence brought this ancient classical piece into the 21st century. And that 'Earth' movement? Mind blown 😲. It's like they took all these different styles, threw them in a blender, and hit puree 🍹. The result is just infectious joy and music that makes you wanna get up and dance 💃🏻.

I'm totally blown away by Stevens & Pound's latest performance of 'The Silent Planet'! 🤩 It's like they took all the magic of classical music and mixed it with the raw energy of folk and bluegrass to create something entirely new and amazing 😍. I love how Will Pound's harmonica playing adds this whimsical touch, but at the same time, Delia Stevens' percussion skills bring a level of sophistication that grounds the whole thing. It's like they're speaking directly to your soul 🎶💖 And can we talk about the crowd?! Everyone was having so much fun, laughing and dancing along... it was truly infectious!
