I'm not buying it when politicians say they're gonna do one thing, but really they're doing another 
. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey is being super reasonable for calling ICE out on their empty promises 
. It's all about transparency and accountability, which is fair 
. Meanwhile, the protests against ICE operations are still raging 
and I don't blame 'em one bit 
. The fact that a federal investigation into Alex Pretti's killing is even necessary is just crazy 
. We need real change, not lip service from our leaders

i mean i know ice has been a total controversy but i still think its crazy that mayor frey is being so harsh on them

i feel like they're trying to do the right thing but it's hard to trust when ppl in power seem skeptical 
we need to keep pushing for change and holding ppl accountable 
i hope scott sweetow's recommendations actually get implemented so we can start to see some real change in how law enforcement handles these situations
