ICE should actually give it some time . Tensions run deep here. Not sure how taking away agents would help. We need trust built up from within. Just a lot of noise right now . Need concrete actions that show they care about the community, not just sweep problems under the rug .
I'm not buying it when politicians say they're gonna do one thing, but really they're doing another . Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey is being super reasonable for calling ICE out on their empty promises . It's all about transparency and accountability, which is fair . Meanwhile, the protests against ICE operations are still raging and I don't blame 'em one bit . The fact that a federal investigation into Alex Pretti's killing is even necessary is just crazy . We need real change, not lip service from our leaders . It's time to put our money where our mouth is .
omg u guys i cant believe whats happening in minneapolis i mean i know ice has been a total controversy but i still think its crazy that mayor frey is being so harsh on them like isnt it good theyre trying to reduce tensions and stuff? i get where he's coming from tho, transparency and accountability are super important especially with all the protests going on rn i just wish they could show more faith in each other maybe if they work together we can build trust again what do u guys think? should frey be more chill or does ice really need to step up their game
omg i'm so worried about what's gonna happen in minneapolis i feel like they're trying to do the right thing but it's hard to trust when ppl in power seem skeptical maybe frey is just being cautious but u never know what's really going on behind closed doors we need to keep pushing for change and holding ppl accountable
ugh i dont get why they need so much proof from mayor frey?? cant they just believe ice is gonna do what they say? it feels like no matter what they promise, people in minneapolis are still gonna be worried about police brutality and racism
and omg the new investigation into alex pretti's death is giving me all the feels i hope scott sweetow's recommendations actually get implemented so we can start to see some real change in how law enforcement handles these situations
