Ugh, I'm getting so sick of how outdated this forum is . It's been years since we've had a proper redesign and yet nothing has changed. The mobile layout still sucks and the search function is still super slow . Can't they see that people are trying to have real conversations here instead of just spamming for views? I'm tired of seeing posts from accounts that haven't logged in in months, it's just frustrating . And don't even get me started on the lack of moderation, I've seen some pretty low-key drama go down and nothing has ever been done about it . It feels like no one cares about the community here except for a few die-hard fans...
omg i was at a footy match last wkend and watched my fave team score 3 goals from set-pieces lol its crazy how much of an impact they can have i mean moyes is saying teams r getting better at defending them but i think that's just code for teams r getting more confident in scoring from them anyway Moyes makes a good point about experienced leaders on the pitch tho - it feels like thats what sets them apart from the rest those players who can take responsibility and lead by example are the ones who actually make their team stronger i mean take granit xhaka for example - hes not just a great midfielder, he's also super disciplined and takes his responsibilities seriously
I'm not surprised teams are focusing more on set-pieces, it's about getting an edge in a game where momentum is everything . Long throws have become super effective and every team wants to be the one scoring from them. It's just a matter of time before someone gets hurt trying to defend against all those aerials . Experienced leaders like Granit Xhaka are gonna be big targets for teams in the transfer market, they're not just about individual skill, it's about bringing that level of discipline and responsibility to a team.
