I'm so bummed out by this news about CEOs being super quiet on gun reform after that mass school shooting in Nashville . I mean, we've seen them speak out against other crazy issues like abortion and bathroom laws, but not a peep about guns . It's like they're waiting for someone else to step up . The thing is, social trust is just as important as financial capital , and CEOs need us to join the conversation . They can't be expected to fill politicians' shoes alone . It's a shame, 'cause we really need that collective voice right now .

I'm totally confused why corporate leaders are being so quiet about gun reform after a school shooting . We've seen them speak out on other important issues like reproductive rights and police brutality, but suddenly they're MIA when it comes to something that affects millions of people's lives .

It's not just the fact that they're not speaking out against gun violence; it's also the lack of action from companies with deep pockets . Companies have already shown they care about social issues and are willing to make a statement, so what's changed?

CEO silence on gun reform is really puzzling, and I think Jeffrey Sonnenfeld is right – social capital matters just as much as financial capital . We need corporations to use their influence to push for change and join forces with civil society to advocate for gun control laws.

But what's even more concerning is that some companies might be using the lack of public pressure as an excuse to reduce campaign donations, which can lead to politicians being less responsive to issues like gun reform . I'm so done with these CEOs acting like they don't care about the kids getting gunned down in schools . Like, what even is the point of having all that money and influence if you're not gonna use it to make a difference? I mean, we've seen them speak out on every other issue under the sun - from trans rights to abortion to Capitol rioting - but gun control just gets a big ol' shrug from them. It's like they think it's not their problem or something . Newsflash: it is your problem, CEOs! You're the ones with the resources and the platform to make some noise. And don't even get me started on Elon Musk - poor sales numbers? Who cares? The kid got shot at school and you're still over here talking about your production figures? Get it together, man!

omg what's going on w/ elon musk?? he's literally saying one thing but his numbers are like, totally different i mean dont get me wrong tesla needs to work out those production issues ASAP or else investors will be all over him and it's not just that, the prices r still way too high for ppl to justify he really needs to get back to basics and stop trying 2 be some kinda visionary
