omg u gotta check out this new album by Piotr Anderszewski, it's like he's speaking straight to my soul his take on Brahms' Late Piano Works is sooo deep, i mean we all know those pieces can be a bit intimidating but he makes them feel so intimate and relatable. i love how he doesn't overdo the dramatics, just lets the music speak for itself it's like u can literally hear the pain in every note his phrasing is so expressive too, i was totally getting chills listening to the Op 118 A-major Intermezzo and that final piece? ugh, i don't even have words, it's just... beautiful
I mean come on, not another overhyped pianist album . Brahms' Late Piano Works is like, the ultimate "I'm a sophisticated music snob" playlist . It's all about being emo and stuffy. I get it, they're beautiful pieces, but do we really need another angsty piano recital? I mean, where's the fun in that? Give me some jazz or something to really get my blood pumping . Piotr Anderszewski's style is just too boring for my taste .
