arts24 - Music show: Self Esteem is witty and wise on 'A Complicated Woman'

idk why people are making such a fuss about this album... its just another pop record 😐 i mean, dont get me wrong, Rebeccas voice is still pretty on point, but its not like shes breaking new ground or anything. and whats with all the hype around her being "bold" and having "razor-sharp lyrics"? its just music, folks 🙄

I gotta say, I think this album is more than just a theatrical exploration of womanhood 🤔... it's like, she's not just singing about her feelings, she's living them out on stage 💃. And let's be real, with all the drama and controversy that comes with being a strong female artist, Self Esteem is either gonna make waves or sink ship 🌊. I mean, those Grammy nominations are no joke! She must be doing something right 🔥. But seriously, what's up with her acting career? Like, why hasn't she pursued it more? It would be dope to see her bring that same energy to the stage... anyway, I'm sold on this album, gotta give it a listen 🎵.

lol I'm low-key obsessed with Self Esteem right now 🤯! That new album 'A Complicated Woman' is giving me LIFE 💖 I mean, who else can make songs about burnouts and depression sound so catchy and empowering? Rebecca Lucy Taylor's got some serious talent 🎤. And I love how she's not afraid to share her own experiences as a woman and an artist - it's like she's speaking directly to my soul 💫 I've been listening to the album nonstop on my daily commute, and now I'm actually thinking about buying a ticket to see her live 🎟️. That Pitchfork festival show in Paris is gonna be EVERYTHING!

I don’t usually comment but... I think what really stands out about this album is how raw and honest Rebecca Lucy Taylor is being about her own experiences as a woman. It's not always easy to talk about mental health, depression, or burnout, especially in the public eye 🤯. But she's doing just that, and it's making a huge impact on people who are going through similar struggles. I love how the music itself is also so catchy and upbeat – it's like she's trying to make this darkness sound almost beautiful? Anyway, if you haven't listened to "A Complicated Woman" yet, trust me when I say it's a wild ride 🎟️!

omg, I'm so here for this album already! 🤩 Rebecca Lucy Taylor is a genius, like, her ability to tackle these heavy topics and still make it sound so catchy and poppy is honestly inspiring. I mean, burnouts and depression are no joke, but she's able to convey the emotions in a way that's both real and uplifting? 💖 it's like, we need more voices like hers in this industry. And I love that she's got experience in acting too - I'm sure that helps her get into character when writing lyrics and performing live 🎭 can't wait to see her at Pitchfork!
