Arsenal's win at Inter was big for belief – could the Gunners win Champions League AND Premier League?

Arsenal Stun Inter 3-1: A Win That Proves Arsenal's Ambition and Conviction

Mikel Arteta has been writing the script for his team's recent success, but it wasn't until a week ago that it became clear just how much he had planned. The Brazilian forward Gabriel Jesus scored twice in their 3-1 win over last season's Champions League runners-up Inter Milan, with his teammate Viktor Gyokeres scoring the third goal from the bench.

The victory was a testament to Arsenal's maturity and intelligence, with Arteta praising his team's ability to seize opportunities and show more energy than their opponents. The Gunners' expected goals against in the competition is the lowest of any team, and their clean sheet record has been unbroken for several games now.

Arteta has urged his fans to "enjoy the journey", but for many, it's hard not to get caught up in the excitement of competing for silverware. Arsenal are top of both the Premier League and Champions League tables, with a seven-point gap between them and second-placed team.

Their run into Inter Milan was not an easy one, however. The fixture list has been relentless, with several games played in quick succession without rest. Despite this, the depth of the team is remarkable, and Arteta's selection "headache" up front now seems like a distant memory after Jesus' impressive display.

The question on everyone's mind now is whether Arsenal can win both the Premier League and Champions League. It's a daunting task, but Arteta's rock-solid outfit is set up for success in European competitions. They have beaten some of the best teams in Europe, including Bayern Munich, and their away draws and narrow home wins have given them valuable experience.

However, there are still nagging fears about the team's ability to perform under pressure. Will Jesus and Saka stay fit? Is Gyokeres really good enough when it matters most? These are the concerns that are keeping many fans up at night, but they also know that Manchester City are not as strong as they were last season, and Liverpool are out of the title picture.

The worry is that Arsenal may have peaked too soon yet again. But for now, this win against Inter Milan has given them a much-needed confidence boost. It's an indication of where they are right now - better than everyone they have played so far. Arteta's mantra is to use each confidence boost as fuel, and if his team can carry on going like this, then there's no reason why they shouldn't go all the way in Europe.

For the Arsenal supporters, it's time to believe that their team can win it all. The pocket of supporters cheering long into the night in Milan sounded like they were heeding Arteta's advice to enjoy the journey, but for many, the destination is what matters now - and that could be so sweet indeed.

idk why ppl r saying arsenal r destined 4 the champs lol, its like ur saying every team has 2 b invincible lol, its not gonna happen 2 many teams 2 make it 2 th e final 1st year out lol. dont 4get they got some tough games ahead of em too

Man I'm still skeptical about this Arsenal team 🤔. They've got a decent run going but let's not get ahead of ourselves here 😅. It's one win against Inter Milan, big deal, they've played some dodgy opponents before too 🙄. And don't even get me started on the fixture list, it's like they're just burning out their players ⏰. I mean, can they sustain this level of performance over 10 or 20 games? 💪 I'm not convinced.

And what about that concern everyone's having - will Jesus and Saka stay fit? 🤕 That's a ticking time bomb right there. And Gyokeres, is he really the answer to their goals problem? 🤔 I'm not reading too much into this win just yet... 😒

I think I was saying that Arsenal's recent win over Inter Milan was a fluke, but now I'm thinking maybe it wasn't 😂. I mean, they did beat one of the best teams in Europe without their top player, which is no easy feat. Arteta's team selection has been on point lately, and Gabriel Jesus seems like a game-changer. But, at the same time, I still think Manchester City will come back strong and take the Premier League title... or maybe not 🤔. And what about that away draw against Bayern Munich? Wasn't that just a lucky result? 🤷‍♂️

I've been thinking about this win a lot... it's not just about beating Inter Milan, it's about the mentality of the team and how they're approaching the rest of the season 🤔. It's like they're finally waking up to their own potential - I mean, we've seen glimpses of greatness before, but it's one thing to be good on paper and another to back it up in real matches 💪.

The thing that's got me thinking is how fragile confidence can be. One loss or a few bad performances could completely flip this around 🤕. But at the same time, there's something special about this team - it's like they're all connected on a deeper level, and when they click, they become almost unstoppable 🔀.

It's funny, I was talking to some friends about this win, and we were all wondering if Arsenal are just peaking too soon. But the thing is, I think that's what makes this team so intriguing - they're pushing themselves to new heights, even when everyone else thinks they've already reached the top 🌊.

Anyway, it's been a while since I've felt this level of excitement about football... maybe I'm just getting old 😜. But one thing's for sure - if Arsenal can keep this momentum going, watch out Europe! ⚽

man i think arsenal has got this !! 🤯 their squad is on point and arteta's tactics are 🔥 gotta give props to gabriel jesus tho, he's been on fire lately ! 😅 Viktor gyokeres too, who knew he had it in him ? 🤔 the pressure on them to win both the premier league and champions league is huge but i think they've got the chops to do it 💪 let's be real though, their next big test is gonna come soon so we'll just have to wait and see how they handle it 😎

man this arsenal team is on fire 🔥 they're literally doing everything right from their tactics to their squad depth its crazy how mikel arteta has them playing like a well-oiled machine 🤖 i mean sure they have their doubts about the champions league but i think they've got what it takes to make it to the final definitely not gonna be easy but arsene's team is one for the ages 🔴⚽

I think this Arsenal team is really making a big statement right now 🤯! They've shown that they're not just a one-off fluke, but a solid unit that can compete against the best teams in Europe. Mikel Arteta's tactics are spot on and it's clear he's done his homework. I mean, beating Bayern Munich? That's huge 💪!

But yeah, the concerns about fitness and form are valid 🤔. Saka and Jesus need to stay healthy if they want to make a deep run in the Champions League. And let's not forget that Inter Milan was on a hot streak before this game ⚽️. Still, I think Arteta has his team set up for success and with that confidence boost from beating them, I wouldn't bet against them now 😄.

It's all about consistency at this point, though 🤝. Can they keep up the good form? Only time will tell 👀!

omg i know right?! arsenal just smashed inter milan 3-1 🤯🔥! arteta's tactics are on point and his team is looking super mature 🤓. gabriel jesus is straight fire 🔪, and viktor gyokeres' bench goal was pure magic ✨. i'm loving the energy they're bringing to games right now 💪. it's crazy to think they could win both the premier league and champs league... that would be LIFE.CHANGING 🎉😍! but of course, there are still doubts about their ability to perform under pressure 🤔. can they stay fit, is gyokeres good enough? those are some valid concerns 🤷‍♀️. anyway, for now, let's just bask in the glory of this epic win and enjoy the journey (for once) 😊.

omg i cant even believe what just happened 3-1 over inter milan is insane 🤯 arteta must be doing something right with his team theyre so deep it feels like theyre unstoppable gyokeres coming off the bench and scoring like he's been there all game 💥 gabriel jesus is on fire too can't wait to see what happens next in the champions league

Wow 🤩💥 this team is on fire 🔥🔴️! They're playing some seriously good football and it's hard not to get excited about their chances in both the Premier League and Champions League. I mean, who needs rest when you're flying high like Arsenal? 😉 Interesting how Arteta has managed to get his players so motivated and confident... can't wait to see what they do next! 👊

🤔 I'm telling you, this win against Inter Milan was too easy. Like, why did it take them a whole game to score their first goal? And don't even get me started on the fixture list... that's just a way to tire out the team and get an easier opponent. 🏟️ What's next, are they gonna play 5 games in a row without rest? Mikel Arteta is hiding something from us, I'm sure of it. 🔍 This "win" might be a confidence booster, but what about when things get tough? Will they fold under pressure like we've seen before? 🤷‍♂️

I THINK ARSENAL ARE ON FIRE RIGHT NOW!!! THEY'VE BEEN PLAYING SOME AMAZING FOOTBALL AND IT'S HARD NOT TO GET CARRIED AWAY WITH THE EXCITEMENT OF COMPETING FOR SILVERWARE! GABRIEL JESUS IS A GENIUS FORWARD AND VIKTOR GYÖKERES IS PROOF THAT ARTETA'S TEAM BUILDING SKILLS ARE ON POINT!!! BUT SERIOUSLY, HOW LONG CAN THEY KEEP THIS UP? WILL THEY GET COMPLACENT OR CAN THEY KEEP THE MOTIVATION UP? ANYWAY, IT'S BEEN AN AMAZING WEEK FOR ARSENAL FANS AND I'M LOVING EVERY MINUTE OF IT!!!

🔥 Just saw Arsenal smash Inter 3-1 and I'm hyped! 🤩 They've got this team thing down pat, no drama, just straight shots to goal 💪 Arteta's getting it right, no surprises there 😎

🤔 yikes this sounds like another case of "peak too soon" imo there's no substance to their wins, just a bunch of lucky bounces and opponents playing poorly 🏆 any team can have a good run if they're not challenged enough but when doars get tough who's gonna step up? 🤷‍♂️ 7-point gap in the premier league is huge tho maybe its true that they've got the depth to keep it up 📊

the thing is...this win over inter milan wasnt just about arsenal beating a good team its about how theyve grown as a squad over time like mikel arteta said theyre seizing opportunities and showing more energy than their opponents it makes you wonder if the rest of europe can keep up with them especially considering man citys decline and liverpool being out of the title picture but at the same time theres still that nagging feeling that they mightve peaked too soon again

idk wut i would b thinkin' if i wasnt a arsenal fan lol 😂 they actually r doin somethin rite 4 once! mikel arteta's team playz such good football, it's like they rnt even tryin 2 loose lol. anywayz, its defo goin 2 b intresting 2 c if dey can hold onto dis lead & win both leagues. dont get me wrong i'd love 2 c man utd or chelsa win it all too but arsenal's on fire rn 🚀🔥👏

👏 Arsenal is on fire right now! 💥 They've got a solid squad, great team chemistry and an amazing coach in Mikel Arteta 🤝. The depth of their team is unreal, they're killing it in both the Premier League and Champions League 💪. OfcOURSE, there are still doubts about their ability to perform under pressure 😬 but for now, let's enjoy this confidence boost 💥! They're definitely one of the favorites to win the title 🏆...who knows?

Wow 😊 Arsenal is on fire 🔥! They've got the momentum going and it's hard not to get hyped about their chances in both the Premier League and Champions League. The depth of the team is insane, I mean Viktor Gyokeres scoring a goal from the bench? That's some next level stuff 🤯... Arteta's squad selection has been on point lately and Gabriel Jesus is just pure magic ✨! Will they win it all? We'll see, but for now, let's just enjoy the ride 😄

So they finally beat Inter Milan 3-1... I'm loving how well Gabriel Jesus and Viktor Gyokeres are doing for Arsenal! 🤩🏆 Their win over Bayern Munich earlier was impressive too. Arteta's got some top players on his hands, but you can't help but wonder if they've reached their peak just yet? ⚠️ One thing's for sure though - their depth is looking pretty solid right now. Can they keep up the energy and momentum? And will Saka stay fit throughout the season? These are all good questions to be asking! 😬
