Alzheimer's therapies should target a particular gene, researchers say

idk what's more impressive - that they managed to identify a gene linked to alzheimers or that they thought 93% was 'up to' the number of cases lol 🤣 but seriously, this is some cool research. the idea of targeting the apoe gene as a treatment option is huge. it's crazy how much more effective it could be than just removing toxic proteins from the brain. of course, there are challenges with editing genes and whatnot, but if they can figure out a way to do it safely and effectively, that would be amazing 💡

🧠💡 this study is super promising! i mean, can u imagine a world where alzheimers isn't a thing anymore? 🌎 sadly, it sounds like we're not there yet, but its good to know that researchers are working on it 🤝 the apoe gene thing seems pretty fascinating - i dont fully get how it works but if scientists can find a way to 'block' its impact, it could be game changer 💥 450k people of european ancestry and still they found this info... thats crazy! 🤯 what do u think? would u want to try out any potential alzheimers treatments in the future?
