'A human right': Benches promised for every NYC bus stop ... eventually

omg u no how frustrating its to wait 4 like forever on the bus lol 🚗😩 i think its awesome that nyc is finally gonna give us benches at every bus stop tho 👍 its not just about getting a seat tho, its about humans being able to rest & live dignified lives. and yeah, i get what they're tryin 2 do with armrests, but cant we just have more buses running on time or somethin' 🤷‍♀️ anyway, good 4 them taking steps towards fixin up our transportation system 👍
 
omg u guys i cant even imagine how awful it must be to ride the buses in nyc 14k bus stops feels like a lot but at least now we have benches lol 40 million dollars is a pretty penny tho but idc its about time they did this i mean who needs personal space anyway 😂 seriously tho its kinda sad that ppl are sleeping on those buses and thats where these new benches come in hopefully itll help curb that too 🤞 mayor adams u guyz gotta step ur game up with the bus lanes fam 💨

I'm so done with the MTA's slow moves 🤯. I mean, it's like they're trying to make us suffer even more on those ridiculously long bus rides 😩. But you know what would make a huge difference? If we had actual benches at every single bus stop! Like, can't we just prioritize our commuters for once?! 🙄 875 benches in two decades is a start, but it's not like they're gonna magically appear overnight. Still, it's a step in the right direction and I'm here for it 👍.
