Four individuals have been taken into custody by police in connection with a violent shooting incident that left two 14-year-old boys injured outside a townhome complex in Opa-locka. The altercation occurred on Tuesday morning at the Mirage at Sailboat Cove, a gated community located on Northwest 17th Avenue and 142nd Lane.
Eyewitness accounts describe the suspects as masked individuals who entered the targeted residence and lured the teens outside before opening fire. One of the victims' fathers, Eddie Mills, recounted the harrowing experience, stating that his son was shot multiple times, including in the face, legs, and thighs. Despite receiving immediate medical attention, one of the victims has since been released from the hospital.

... anyway, Opa-locka is like 20 minutes away from Miami Beach, you can literally drive there and chill on the beach if you live nearby. I wonder if the Mirage at Sailboat Cove has any good amenities for the residents... I mean, it's a gated community, so you'd expect some level of security, right? 
. It's just not fair that these 14-year-olds got caught up in a senseless act of violence. Can you imagine being 14 and having to deal with that kind of trauma? It's just devastating.
I just hope that law enforcement can get to the bottom of this and bring those responsible to justice.

The fact that there are masked individuals running around, just randomly shooting at teens, is just insane. How do we even prevent this from happening? It feels like we're stuck in some kinda never-ending cycle of violence and fear...

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that justice will be served, but it's hard not to feel a sense of hopelessness about it all

what's wrong with these teens?! I mean, i feel bad for them obviously but 14 years old is way too young to be dealing with this kinda stuff. it's like, what did they even do to deserve this? and the fact that it was some masked individuals who just walked up and started shooting... it's just crazy
