One person has lost their life and another is in critical condition after a violent shooting at an apartment complex in north Harris County. The Cranbrook Forest Apartments on Ella Boulevard and W. Rankin Road were the scene of the tragedy late Thursday evening, according to authorities.
According to preliminary reports from the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office, two men were shot by officers who responded to a call at the apartment complex. One victim was pronounced dead on the spot, while another man is being treated for his injuries at a local hospital.
