Four women have joined forces to bring to light the disturbing story of a serial abuser who was placed on the sex offender register twice before embarking on a cycle of physically and mentally abusive relationships, including multiple affairs and pregnancies. The victims, Jenni, Natalie, Shannon, and Robyn, bravely share their experiences in a sensitive documentary that shines a light on the devastating impact of this individual's actions.

However, for those looking to unwind with some lighter entertainment, there are plenty of options available tonight. Jamie's Feasts for a Fiver offers up a few tasty treats, from gnocchi swimming in creamy blue cheese sauce to crispy noodle fishcakes vamped up with harissa.

On BBC One, Silent Witness returns with its forensic crime action relocated to Birmingham for series 29. The first part of the two-part story sees Nikki and Jack find themselves entangled with an unlikely hitman. While the plot may be decent, it's Emily Fox's impressive hairstyle that steals the show.

Meanwhile, on Channel 5, Platoon 24/7: Preparing for War follows a group of 30 soldiers as they form a platoon in the Rifles infantry regiment and navigate their way through a week-long training exercise. It's a gripping look at the lives of those who serve their country.

For fans of Game of Thrones, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms offers up another dose of epic fantasy on Sky Atlantic. The latest episode sees Aerion Targaryen wreaking havoc as he attends a tournament and continues to ruffle feathers among the locals.

Finally, on Film4, Chevalier tells the story of Joseph Bologne, a celebrated composer, violinist, and fencer who became embroiled in the tumultuous world of 18th-century Parisian society. Kelvin Harrison Jr shines as the titular character in this fascinating slice of Black history that explores themes of identity, social class, and revolution.
 
I am literally so done with all these shows right now 🤯. Don't get me wrong, I love a good docu-series or fantasy epic, but can we please just talk about the real issues for once? Like what's up with our system that lets this serial abuser roam free in the first place? Four women, Jenni, Natalie, Shannon, and Robyn, are brave enough to share their stories and it's honestly heartbreaking. I mean, who does something like that twice?! 🤕 It's not just about them, though - it's about all the other victims out there who are suffering in silence.

And can we please give some love to these women for speaking out? 💖 They're not just survivors, they're also advocates and activists. I'm so inspired by their strength and resilience.

But, hey, if you want to watch something lighter, go for it! 😂 I mean, who doesn't love a good ol' fashioned noodle fishcake? 🍜 At least we can laugh about it for a little while.
 
omg can't believe how many talented ladies on tv tonight 😂 especially those victims sharing their stories it's so inspiring to see them stand strong together 💪 but at the same time i'm so over all these crime dramas like silent witness it just feels like same old same old 🙄 and what's with bbc one not promoting any diverse casting? 🤷‍♀️ anyway back to the good stuff - chevalier looks SO GOOD Kelvin Harrison Jr is like the new idris elba 😍
 
you know what's wild? I just got back from a trip to Japan last year and tried this crazy fried chicken place 🍗👀 they had these crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, finger-lickin' good pieces that literally made my jaw drop 😲 i mean, what's the secret ingredient? did they use some special sauce or something? i'm thinking of trying to recreate it at home but like, have you ever tried making fried chicken from scratch? 🤔

I'm totally blown away by these women's stories 🤯. It's heartbreaking to think about how one person can have such a profound impact on so many lives, causing them to go through hellish experiences. On a completely different note, I'm super excited about Jamie's Feasts for a Fiver tonight 🍴! It's great to see some lighter entertainment options to balance out the heavier topics.

But let's be real, these shows are just a distraction from the real issues at hand. We need more support systems for victims of abuse and more awareness about this critical issue. The fact that these women had to go through what they did is just staggering.
 
😔 I can only imagine how hard it must've been for those women to share their experiences like that... serial abusers can be super manipulative & gaslighting, making victims feel so guilty or ashamed about what's really happening to them 🤯. It takes so much courage to speak out against something like this and I hope everyone who watches the documentary gets a sense of support & solidarity 💪.
 
I feel bad for all these women who had to go through that 🤕. I mean, can you even imagine having to deal with someone like that twice? It's just horrific. Ugh, I'm just not really feeling the whole Jamie's Feasts thing right now 😐. I mean, it sounds like some nice food, but have you seen those prices? £5 for a gnocchi dish? That's crazy expensive! 🤑

I actually do love me some Silent Witness, though 📺. Emily Fox's hair is always on point, and the cases are just so intriguing 🧐. And I'm excited to see what happens next with Nikki and Jack 👀.

But you know what's even more impressive? Those soldiers in Platoon 24/7: Preparing for War 💪. I mean, can you imagine putting yourself through that kind of training? It's just...wow 🤯.

Ugh, can't believe BBC One is still recycling old format for Silent Witness 🙄, it's like they're just phoning it in. And don't even get me started on the lack of representation, I mean, where's the diversity? 🤔 It's always the same old white faces, no wonder the show feels so stale.

And can we talk about Jamie's Feasts for a Fiver, the food pics look amazing but what's up with the weird logo design? 🤪 Looks like it was designed by a 12-year-old. On the bright side, at least the noodle fishcakes sound decent 😋.

Film4's Chevalier is actually pretty cool though, Kelvin Harrison Jr is awesome and I love how it explores the intersection of art and identity 👏. Maybe we can see more movies like this on Film4 instead of rehashed BBC dramas? 🎥
 
I think it's crazy how easy it is to miss out on documentaries about serious issues like human trafficking and abuse, especially when there are so many options for light entertainment 🤔. These women who have come forward with their stories deserve our attention and support - we should be giving them the platform they need to share their experiences without feeling shamed or judged 😕. Meanwhile, I'm glad shows like Silent Witness exist because it's great that forensic crimes are being taken seriously and investigated on TV 🚔.

Four women coming forward is like a small victory for justice but can we talk about how messed up our system is that allows one person to get off scot-free TWICE? Like what even is the point of having a sex offender register if it's just gonna be a slap on the wrist every time?! And these victims are literally being made to relive their trauma in order to warn others, I mean I get it but can't we find a better way to hold people accountable?
 
I'm just watching all these shows about abuse and crime and it's like, so heavy 🤕. But at the same time, I love a good fantasy show every now and then. Game of Thrones is still one of my faves, even though it can be super dark sometimes 😅. And have you seen that new Sky Atlantic show A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms? It's like, whoa... just when you think Aerion Targaryen can't get any more dramatic, he does 💥. On a lighter note, I'm kinda craving some Jamie's Feasts for a Fiver gnocchi sauce right about now 🍝👌. Anyway, back to these heavy shows... I feel like we need more stories like that documentary about the serial abuser, you know? It's so important to bring attention to these issues and help people who've been through similar trauma 💖.

You know what really caught my attention about these women's stories... not just the serial abuser, but how it highlights the systemic failure to support victims & hold perpetrators accountable? I mean, we talk about #MeToo & accountability all the time, but when does that translate into real change? It's like, we're still dealing with the same old patterns of toxic behavior. It's a never-ending cycle... 🤕

And then, on the flip side, you've got these women sharing their stories, and I'm like, what about our own personal agency in breaking free from that cycle? Are we empowering ourselves enough to take back control & create a life worth living? Or are we just trying to survive another day, hoping someone will come along & rescue us? 🌟
 
🤔 i mean can you believe how messed up our justice system is? like these women were basically failed by the system twice over. it's not just about the guy being a serial abuser, it's about how he was able to get away with it for so long because of technicalities. 🚫 and then they're left to deal with the aftermath, trying to pick up the pieces of their lives. anyway, back to something more lighthearted... have you tried those gnocchi at Jamie's Feasts for a Fiver? 😍
