I'm literally so done with this whole thing The fact that Trump is using government funding as leverage for his radical immigration views is just mind-boggling to me. Like, what even is the point of having a functioning government if we can't work together and find common ground? It's not like he's asking for the moon here, just basic border security measures that most Americans support. But nope, he'd rather hold the whole country hostage over his own ego And meanwhile, our furloughed workers are struggling to make ends meet, it's just disgusting. Can we please just have a functioning government already?!

omg did u hear about this gov shutdown thingy it's been going on for like 6 weeks now! i feel so bad for all those ppl who lost their jobs because of it i mean, i get that they wanna secure the borders and all, but can't they just find a compromise or something? it seems like no one's really winning here... anyway, has anyone seen that video of a chicken playing the piano ? gotta check that out rn

man, it's getting old seeing this back-and-forth between Trump and the Democrats . like, can't they just find a way to compromise already? this shutdown is affecting so many people's lives... hundreds of thousands of workers are out of paychecks because of this . and what's with all these "extorted" vibes? it sounds like politics-as-usual to me . the White House spokesperson is right, though - we need some common ground here. but Trump's stance on immigration is just so... stubborn . how about they focus on finding solutions that benefit everyone, instead of making it all about winning?
