Top-four seeding of Women's FA Cup would kill the magic and widen money gap

I don’t usually comment but I'm really not sure why they need to seed top-four teams in the first place 🤔. I mean, who doesn't love an upset or two? It's what makes the FA Cup so special, right? Eliminating that magic just feels like a recipe for boredom 😴. And yeah, it's gonna widen the financial gap even more between those rich clubs and everyone else. That's just not fair to the smaller teams 🤕. I think they should focus on getting more money down to the lower tiers instead. It'd be way better for the competition and give all teams a shot at winning, you know? 🏆

I'm literally shocked by this proposal 🤯! It's like they're trying to turn the FA Cup into just another league tournament where only the rich get richer 💸. I mean, what's the point of even calling it the FA Cup if you're just gonna give a free pass to the top four teams? It's all about creating an unlevel playing field and giving those giant-killing upsets the boot 🚫.

I think the FA should be focusing on helping out the lower-tier teams instead of coddling the big boys. That way, we can actually see some real competition and exciting matches happening throughout the tournament 🔥. And honestly, if you're not making it down to the semi-finals or final with a top-four team, then what's the point? 🤔 It's all about the money, right?

I'm totally on Chris Hames' side on this one 🙌. The FA Cup is supposed to be about bringing people together and creating magic moments, not just about giving more money to the same old wealthy teams 💖. Let's keep it real and make sure everyone has a fair shot at competing, regardless of their bank balance 🤑.

I'm so not down with this seeding idea 🙅‍♂️... it just seems like they're putting more fuel on the fire of already huge financial disparities between top clubs and others. I mean, can you imagine if the men's FA Cup did something similar? It'd be a total disaster! 😩 Those top 4 WSL sides would basically get free passes to the final 💸... what's the point of even having an FA Cup draw if it's just going to be rigged like that? 🤯 Give those smaller clubs a chance to shine, you know? They might not have the same resources or fans as the big boys, but they've got heart and determination 💪.

I'm so done with this seeding idea 🙄👎. It's like they're trying to take away the fun and unpredictability of the FA Cup draw altogether! I mean, what's the point of even having the competition if only the top 4 teams have a shot at winning? 😒 The smaller clubs need more support, not less. We should be encouraging giant-killing upsets, not eliminating them 🤯💥. The financial gap between the elite and lower-tier teams is already a problem, and this plan just makes it worse 💸😢. Can't we focus on leveling the playing field instead? Maybe invest in some grassroots programs or provide more resources to smaller clubs so they can compete on a more equal footing 🌈🏆.

Ugh, this seeding plan is so not fair to smaller clubs 🤕. I mean, can't we just keep it simple and let teams compete fairly against each other? The magic of the FA Cup is all about upsets and surprises, right? 🌟 It's like they're creating a whole different competition within the cup itself. And what's with the £430k prize? That's already a huge incentive for top clubs to dominate the competition... it feels like we're just watching a repeat of the same old story, with only a few teams at the top getting to enjoy the spoils 🤑. It's heartbreaking to think that smaller clubs won't even get a fair chance to compete anymore 😔
